Gateway to B.Tech, B.Tech + MBA Tech.,B.Pharma + MBA (Pharma Tech.) @ NMIMS (Deemed to be University)
Campus is very big and nice, but walking to the girls' hostel under the hot sun is very tiring. Security is too much strict for us girls. In-time for girls' hostel is very early compared to boys, and we need parents' permission every time we want to go out, which is very annoying. Wi-Fi is fast in rooms, so I can watch movies, but mobile network is sometimes very bad. Mess food is just okay, some days it is nice, but mostly it is very boring.
As a Btech data analytics student I have to work very hard to catch up with the course curriculum as it is top notch and very useful for the further studies, but Studies are very stressful because it is BTech. The FFCS system is good, but if your registration rank is late, you get worst faculty and morning 8 AM classes. Everyone is running behind gpa
Placements are average for me. Many companies come, but mostly they take students with 9+ CGPA. For average coding students, it is very hard to clear the first round because competition is huge. College fests are good, and I enjoy with my friends, but location is very far from Vijayawada or Guntur, so we cannot go out easily. It is an average college, okay for degree but no freedom for girls.
For my fees that is 4 lakh per annum it is okay with the academics and facilities provided
VIT-AP has modern and well-planned infrastructure with spacious classrooms, advanced laboratories, and smart boards that support interactive learning. The campus provides high-speed WiFi, a well-equipped central library, and dedicated research facilities. Hostels are clean, secure, and maintained regularly, with good water and electricity supply. Sports facilities and recreational areas are also available for students. Overall, the infrastructure is excellent and continuously improving, creating a comfortable and productive environment for both academics and personal growth.
VIT-AP offers a strong academic environment with a well-structured curriculum that is regularly updated to match industry standards. The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive in both academics and projects. The FFCS (Fully Flexible Credit System) allows students to choose their subjects and faculty, giving flexibility in learning. Practical exposure through labs, projects, and workshops enhances understanding. Continuous assessments, assignments, and exams ensure consistent learning. Overall, the academic system encourages both theoretical knowledge and practical skills development
VIT-AP provides decent placement opportunities with several reputed companies visiting the campus every year. The placement cell is active and conducts training programs, mock interviews, and skill development sessions to prepare students. While top packages are offered to a few students, average packages are moderate. Students who focus on skills, internships, and projects have better chances of securing good offers. Overall, placements are improving year by year with growing industry connections.
VIT-AP offers reasonable value for money considering its infrastructure, academic flexibility, and overall learning environment. The facilities provided, including modern classrooms, labs, and hostels, justify the fees to an extent. However, the fees may feel slightly high for some students when compared to placement outcomes. Students who actively utilize opportunities, build skills, and participate in internships can make the most out of the investment. Overall, it provides good value if used effectively.
Campus Life will depends of the friends yoy have because your frnds will only last forever with frnds education is also important. Study is good and also for photos veduoa campus also good but about campus Life is depends on your frnds
Good...at first it will be good...full of events..but after 3months you feel to get out....for emergency this clg is good.... faculty is not good teaching too..in this whole campus library is good.....
Faculty teaching is not that good...you have to study on your own....our grades and marks will depends on faculty...one faculty will teach and give good marks ..and other faculty will fail you sometimes
No guarantee for placements... don't depend on this clg...you have to apply outside....less placements so don't see online reviews and join...this is same in every clg...prepare yourself and apply outside too...
Nope...it actually depends on your category..first category you have to pay 1.95lakhs without hostel....in this clg we'll have 5 categories.....so fee depends on your rank...for hostel you have to pay according to your mess

I am studying Computer Science and Engineering cause i am interested in computer Science.Quality of teaching is not too bad. Yes, The management trying their best to get our students job ready.Nice college and nice infrastructure.
Quality of placement is good. 80% students are placed in our campus. The Highest salary package was like above 50 lpa and computer science and engineering. The average Salary is depending on your skills and communication. Not good supportive.
It depend on your rank in viteee Yes some what
Not bad but not good Not too friendly. Safe
Nice college
Nice infrastructure and good environment . It was built in 200acres with almost 20,000 students. The college was massive with regardless of state .It was a place where every piece of state meets and where you can improve your friends circle. The central block was so big with 10 floors was of the largest academic block in Asia.
My college experience was pretty good with good understanding staff and has very good equipments. But the internet connection was so poor. Campus is neatly maintained where the strength of securities and cleaning person are more than the strength of students.
The placements in vit ap campus was pretty bad as they were more prioritising vellore campus regardless of talent. There were giving 3lakh,4lakh package to more than half of campus and telling almost everyone are placed.
If you got in category 1 or in eamcet it is best for money you are paying . More than 1st category it is completely waste .There are many better alternatives with that fee range.
Campus life was pretty good with many clubs .You can enjoy with events and everything
None
Nice infrastructures and very nice facilities by campus and super equipments in labs and there are ac classrooms and thousands of books in library and mainly in our chemistry labs they provide all chemicals that we need to experiments and there is wifi facilities and smart boards
I am studying msc chemistry and they teach very pin to pin accordingly topics and that helps us very much and quality of teaching is also nice and the curriculums is updated and includes all the recent developments in our campus and that's it
We saw that our senior few of members get placed in jobs and few of members went to internships and they are proving internships in college also they get good package and nice salarys and we were expecting jobs to
It costs around 65₹ per year and we gets fee rebesment by government according to our ug cgpa and I think it's too worth for our course
Nice campus with beautiful infrastructures and neat classrooms and nice environment they maintained and cultural activities are too good students and teachers support eacher coming to the studies
Everything is nice
By the time you reach 4th year, you actually start noticing how useful the infrastructure is for core mechanical. The labs are properly equipped with machines like CNC lathe, milling, 3D printers, IC engines, and heat transfer setups, which helps in real understanding rather than just theory . Academic blocks are large and well-planned, with central facilities like library, auditorium, and student activity center all in one place .Workshops and labs are decent for projects, but compared to older campuses, exposure can still feel slightly limited in advanced research areas
In mechanical, the journey from 1st year to 4th year feels quite structured. Core subjects like thermodynamics, manufacturing, and design actually start making sense in later years when combined with lab work and mini projects. The university follows continuous evaluation and flexible course systems, so you can choose electives based on interest . Final year includes projects and sometimes industry-based work, which gives practical exposure. But honestly, a lot depends on self-learning—just classroom teaching alone won’t be enough if you want strong core knowledge.
This is where reality hits a bit for mechanical students. Most placement opportunities are still dominated by IT roles, and many mechanical students end up shifting to software or analytics jobs. Core mechanical companies do come, but they are fewer, and competition is high.
Looking back after 4 years, the experience is a mix of learning, struggle, and growth. Mechanical is not an easy branch, and there are times when workload, labs, and placements pressure all hit together. But it also teaches problem-solving, patience, and practical thinking. Campus life has improved with clubs, events, and activities, but it’s still more academics-focused compared to some other colleges.
I like the way they used the whole land. they did not make it look small or suffocated, it is what i like about this college. greenery over here is top notch. it will refresh your mind like in a good way .
i studied my b.tech from here in electronics communication engineering and had a good experience ,made good friends .worked on projects and worked in the labs which were the real attraction and gave me good exposure.
placements are good here if you have a good cgpa throughout , but would suggest to learn some extra skill to get more financially stable jobs. dream package and you have to work really hard to get a dream package but it is achievevable.
It is value for money if you are trying to target for category -1,2,3. but will not be as much worth of money if you are a category - 4 student. The cost can go upto 30 to 35 (including hostel) , so for me it was good.
All in all it is a good campus life with good ambience and opportunity, clubs, chapters, and much more to explore and more in coming years so my advice to freshers would be to try to make everything worth your time.
It was a good decision to join this college.
Hi,
Yes, VIT AP CSE Core at Category 2 can be considered a decent option, especially if you do not have better options like top NITs, IIITs, or VIT Vellore/Chennai CSE. VIT AP has centralized placements with VIT campuses, and many students get good placement opportunities in CSE-related roles.
The
Hello Dear Student,
Yes, with a VITEEE rank of 65,185 , you have a good chance of getting Biotechnology at VIT AP .
However, admission will more likely be in higher fee categories such as:
rather than Category 1.
Hope it helps!
Hi Aayushi,
With a VITEEE AIR of 47,674, you are likely looking at Category 3-5 for ECE at Chennai/Vellore or potentially Category 1-2 for CSE at AP/Bhopal. For better placement opportunities in IT/Software,
prioritize CSE at VIT Chennai or CSE in Category 2/3 at VIT AP,
as placements are centralized,
