1a. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), put together, are eligible for Govt quota admission.
2. Management Quota
(i) Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations with marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. However, candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put togethe,r are eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self-Financing Engineering Colleges/controlled financing Engineering Colleges. In case the candidates have not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science, and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.

Plus two or equivalent qualified candidates from a recognised Board with a minimum aggregate of 45% (42% in case of SEBC & OEC or 40% in case of SC/ST) and have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Physics & Mathematics are compulsory, and chemistry is one of the optional subjects.
B.Tech. LE (Lateral Entry)
Lateral Entry Candidates with a maximum age of 30 years at the date of application and should have passed diploma with 45% (42% in case of SEBC & OEC / 40% in case of SC/ST) or should have passed B.Sc. with Mathematics as Main or subsidiary subjects with 45% (42% in case of SEBC & OEC or 40% in case of SC/ST) and a pass in 10+2 level with mathematics as one of the subjects
