What are the chances of getting a secure job after doing art teacher diploma from sir jj school of art?

Ayush Madanpotra 24th Jun, 2025

Doing an Art Teacher Diploma from Sir J.J. School of Art can offer good opportunities, especially if you want to work as an art teacher in schools, colleges, or coaching institutes. Sir J.J. School of Art is a reputed government college, and a diploma from there holds strong value in Maharashtra and even in other states.

Here are your job chances:

You can apply for government teaching jobs after passing the diploma and clearing eligibility tests like CTET, TET, or state-level teacher recruitment exams. Many private schools and international schools also hire trained art teachers, especially if you have strong practical and creative skills.

If you’re creative and confident, you can also work as a freelance artist, open your own art classes, or work with NGOs, galleries, or design studios.

While it may not guarantee a job instantly, the diploma adds credibility and increases your chances if you actively apply, build a portfolio, and keep learning.

If you also pursue B.Ed or higher studies after this, your job chances improve even more.

What are the chances of getting a secure job after doing art teacher diploma from sir jj school of art?

Samriddha Pal 18th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Attaining an Art Teacher Diploma (ATD) from Sir J. J. School of Art can present valuable prospects, particularly if you have a strong enthusiasm for education and the arts.

The organization is well-regarded, and its certificate is widely acknowledged in both scholarly and artistic communities. Upon finishing the ATD course, now a three-year program, you may seek teaching roles in private and public schools, art academies, and training centers.

Numerous graduates also pursue freelance teaching, facilitate workshops, or become involved with NGOs and community outreach initiatives related to art education. Although obtaining a stable government position might necessitate passing extra eligibility exams such as CTET or state-level TETs, the diploma itself establishes a strong groundwork in both practical and teaching skills.

The art education job market is competitive and might not provide substantial initial salaries; however, with experience, a strong portfolio, and networking, one can develop a rewarding and stable career.

Hope this helps. All the best!

I completed my masters in psychology, and presently work as a counselor at an NGO. Suggest some certificate courses in the Art therapy field. Or what courses will be beneficial for me, please suggest?

Anannya sarma 11th Aug, 2025

Being aware of legal boundaries, you could begin with brief, reputable workshops or expressive arts programs connected to universities in order to ethically incorporate art-based techniques into your NGO counselling. Use terms like "facilitator" rather than "therapist."  At the same time, if you want complete professional recognition, think about eventually getting accredited training and expanding your theoretical knowledge through credible books.

art student passed 2025 with 76% want to join as nuring course in army or Aims can I join Which is date for enrollment and exams

kumardurgesh1802 25th May, 2025

Hello there,

As an Arts student with 76% in 12th (2025), you are not eligible for B.Sc. Nursing courses in Army or AIIMS, because these courses require Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects in Class 12.

Eligibility for Army Nursing (Military Nursing Service): You must be a female candidate who passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, securing at least 50% aggregate marks. NEET UG is also required for selection.

Eligibility for B.Sc. Nursing in AIIMS: You must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum qualifying marks. AIIMS conducts its own entrance or considers NEET scores for admission.

Important Dates (Tentative for 2025):

  • Online applications: May or June

  • Exam and counseling: July to August

Since you are from the Arts stream, you will not be eligible for these B.Sc. Nursing programs. You may explore Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) courses where Arts stream is sometimes accepted based on state rules.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

I have got 69 percentage in 12th i got bsc nursing in government college

Anushree Thakare 30th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

Yes, it is possible to get into a government B.Sc. Nursing college with a 69% in your 12th grade, particularly if you have a strong background in science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and clear any required entrance exams.

While some top-tier colleges might have higher cutoffs, many government colleges offer programs based on merit and entrance exam scores, and 69% is often within the acceptable range, especially if you are in a reserved category or perform well on the entrance exam.

The specific cutoffs for government colleges vary by state and even by college within a state.

Identify the government colleges in Maharashtra that offer B.Sc. Nursing programs and check their specific eligibility criteria and admission procedures. With the right strategy and effort, you can secure a place in a government B.Sc. Nursing college.
