how can I score well in CUET general knowledge test without coaching ?

pranjalg462 15th Jun, 2022

CUET General Knowledge

Hypothetically, contacting every one of the points in General Knowledge is beyond the realm of possibilities. Thus, the most ideal way to get ready is to rehearse however many questions as could be expected under the circumstances. Download myCBSEguide App or actually take a look at myCBSEguide Dashboard to get to General Knowledge questions.

Reexamine, over and over.

Practice earlier year's papers and online practice tests to get a crux of the questions that are being posed

Work brilliant, not simply hard.

A few books for reference are mentioned:

General Knowledge by Arihant

Disha's Rapid General Knowledge by Disha Experts.

Just be consistent and you will be able to score well in the exam. All the best!

can i prepare clat without coaching?

snehalatayadav88 14th Jun, 2022

Hi Ishika

Yes, you can prepare for CLAT without coaching. For this, you need to first view the important aspects of the exam. I have mentioned some of the aspects below

  1. Firstly, view the syllabus topic-wise.
  2. From the syllabus, note down the important topics.
  3. Now, look at the exam pattern of the Clat exam. Note down some important points such as the exam duration, total number of questions, and questions from each section.
  4. Importantly, keep in mind the marks distribution. Marks are given for correct answers and reduction due to incorrect answers.
  5. Make a suitable study chart and adhere to it strictly.
  6. Practice previous years' questions and analyze the type of questions asked.
  7. For clearing doubts on weak topics, you can refer to many online sources such as YouTube, and free online websites for notes and study materials.
  8. Categorize your strength and weaknesses, and work hard on your weaknesses.
  9. Make notes and regularly revise the topics (no matter whether the topic is weak or strong)
  10. Make a habit of sitting for the exam duration and solving mock tests.
  11. Analyze mock tests and view solutions for correct answers as well.
  12. Always stay updated with the latest news on CLAT details. For details on CLAT Exam and the latest updates visit https://law.careers360.com/exams/clat/amp

how to prepare neet without any coaching

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Jun, 2022

Hi

You can definitely prepare for neet without coaching but yes you will have to put some extra efforts as there will be no one to have your back and keep a check on you that whether you are studying or not.

Follow the below tips to prepare well for your Neet examination with the help of self study :-

-------------------------)  First of all you need to know the syllabus . Your neet syllabus is basically the ncert class 11 and 12th syllabus of physics, chemistry and biology. To get the complete syllabus visit https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-syllabus/amp and while the studying the chapters, your major focus should be on understanding the concepts .

The top books which you can follow for the preparation of your NEET  examination  are provided below:-

>>>>>> PHYSICS :-

  • NCERT Physics textbooks for Class XI and XII

  • Objective Physics for neet By DC Pandey

  • NCERT at your fingertips by mtg for physics

>>>>>> CHEMISTRY :-

  • NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII

  • Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon

  • MS Chauhan (Organic)

>>>>>> BIOLOGY:-

  • NCERT Biology Class XI and Class XII "-

  • NCERT at your fingertips by mtg for biology

  • Trueman's biology for 11th and 12th

For more about books for neet visit :- https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/best-books-for-neet

-------------------------) Practice questions:- after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs .You should practise at least 80 to100 numericals and mcqs in Each chapter to master concepts so that you can solve numericals and MCQs easily.

-------------------------)  Short breaks :- take short breaks in between your studies, studying continuously can be brain tiring and it becomes difficult to focus and study with concentration, so take breaks to relax and refresh your brain.

-------------------------)  Make short notes:- You should make chapterwise short notes for each chapter and it should contain all the important concepts and formulas. These short notes will be a great revision tool for your examination.

-------------------------)  Set  goals :- set daily goals like I have to cover these many topics today, weekly goals like I have to  cover these chapters this week and  solve their mcqs too by the end of this week and similarly set monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.

-------------------------)  Follow a routine or timetable :- you can make a routine and religiously follow it and try to give at least 8 - 10 hours to study each day in your routine.

  • PHYSICS is the  toughest part for most of the medical aspirants  as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with ,so keep at least 3 hours each day for physics

  • In Chemistry you have to deal with reactions and learn them and solve questions as well, so give at least 2.5 hours to Chemistry

  • In biology you have to read, learn and revise again and again, so keep around 2.5 hours for Biology.

-------------------------) Revise:-  revise your concepts,  formulas etc at regular intervals  . Revision is very important otherwise as you move forward in your syllabus, you start forgetting the concepts you have learned before and you won't be able to perform well in your examination.

-------------------------) Solve previous year NEET question  :- Solving previous year questions will let you know the examination pattern, type of questions asked in the exam and difficulty level of questions, also concepts  of the questions often gets repeated so it will be of great help to you . You can get previous year papers at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-question-papers

--------------------------) Go through NEET mock test papers :- Once you are done with your complete syllabus solve mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level .After solving each mock test paper, analyse yourself which will help you to know your weak areas /topics  so that you can work on them and them strong so that you can perform well in your examination.

Which coaching is best for CAT? Time, Carrer launcher, MBA GURU, IMS.

ayanmukherjee045 13th Jun, 2022

Dear aspirant,

If you were to take my opinion then i would choose career launcher or time any of these two. So, in these coaching institutes the back history is good for clearing MBA. Many toppers were from here and have cleared CAT with flying colours.

At first you might have some difficulty in coping up with the level of these Institutes. But don't give up , you need to stick with that and you would get used to this and then accordingly you would score well in mock tests too.

Hi,I was not able to study in 11th and 12th properly for jee and even boards. Please just give me a hope(not a false one). Can I crack Jee mains in my drop year(2023) I may have 6 months from now with 99.5%+ .I enrolled in a online coaching and promised myself not to commit further mistake

Gungun Kasera 12th Jun, 2022
Dear student ,
If you can then you can change impossible to possible only the thing requires is hard work.

If you have  join the online coaching so are they providing good problems ? Is it enough for your practice? Are your basics cleared?
Ask such types of questions if you have doubt on yourself.

See don't solve so many books. Stick to one particular book and try to understand and solve the problems. Try to solve previous year papers as much as you can. Try to start with easy chapters which have more weightage.

Don't worry about what have happened and what will happen if you are not able to achieve that much .
Just remember if you have done hard work to that level then you will be able to achieve.

If you still have any doubts , contact me.

All the best   stay positive and good things will happen.

There is no coaching academy so thats why I cant join so can I join after 12th. answer please

bhumika tiwari 10th Jun, 2022

Hi there.

Yes, you can join a coaching for your course after 12th by taking a gap year. There are no rules stating that if you have passed 12th then you can't take admissions in coaching. so you need not to worry.

There are also a lot of online coaching centers available for you to join if you do not have any coaching centers nearby.

Sir, Im from Bihar I had given my neet exam on 17th july 2022, expecting 540 marks as per coaching institute answer key...is any chance to get admission in any govt medical clg all over the india,I belongs to Obc ncl...

Sanjana 19th Jul, 2022

Hey aspirant

Getting admission in government colleges for 540marks will be difficult. You will get admission in private medical colleges. Or you will also get admission for bds, bams, bhms, etc. Minimum 590+ needed to secure a government seat. As you know this depends on toughness of exam number of candidates appeared ,number of seats etc. For college prediction details refer below link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

I want to know which is the best Allen coaching center branch in Mumbai. Also apart from Allen which is other best coaching institutes in Mumbai which gives promising result in JEE

Satyendu Shukla 7th Jun, 2022

Good Afternoon

Allen Mumbai - Andheri branch t is good. The kohinoor batch is excellent. But except Andheri kohinoor Allen is not performing well in other parts. In Navi Mumbai or Other branches Allen is not of Andheri level, as faculties are different. Top cream of faculties are in Andheri. But regarding results of JEE exams all coaching institutes(not only Allen) can do wonders, magics, tricks, frauds and stealing of top students!

Hope you found this helpful.
