i want to study political science as major and economics as minor in b.a. at delhi university. what are the cut offs for various colleges for this combination

Yes, Mathematics is compulsory for admission to BA (Hons) Economics in most universities. In most best universities like DU, JNU, BHU require Math's as a subject in 12th.

May be some private universities may allow admission without Math's, but your options will be limited.

for UG - BBA IMU cet exam showing chemistry, maths, physics - I am styding in intermediate with History, civics, and economics. is this correct or i shall prepare anything else? am I eligible?

Hello,

For IMU CET (BBA), students from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) who have passed 10+2 with at least 60% marks overall and 50% in English are eligible — Physics, Chemistry, and Math's are not mandatory for BBA courses.

The Physics, Chemistry, Math's syllabus applies only to Marine Engineering and Nautical Science.
So, with History, Civics, and Economics, you’re eligible for IMU CET BBA; just prepare basic English, reasoning, and general awareness instead.

can i take addmission in jnu ma economics but i didnt not have math in 12 i have pcb in 12 but i have ba economics degree and also doing iitm bs degree

Hello,

No, you are not eligible for admission to the M.A. Economics program at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) if you did not study Mathematics in your 12th standard. The eligibility criteria for this program require candidates to have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level or during their undergraduate degree. Since you have a B.A. Economics degree, you may meet the qualification requirement, but the lack of Mathematics in your 12th standard makes you ineligible.

Even if you are pursuing a B.S. degree from IIT Madras, it does not fulfill the specific requirement of having studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Therefore, you would not be eligible for admission to the M.A. Economics program at JNU.
