DEECET means Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test.

DEECET is entrance exam for taking admission in 2 years Diploma in educational courses of Government District Institutions of Andhra Pradesh.

This is the paper format  -

Paper is of 2 sections

1. Paper A - 60 questions of general nature.

2. Paper B - 40 questions, One of 4 subjects (Mathematics/Physical Science/ Biological Science/ Social Studies)

Rule : No negative marking and total 100 marks exam.

The application fees is 600 for general category and 500 for others.

As per cut-offs and reviews, GMRI is better than GVPE college.

College you have mentioned which are located in Andhra Pradesh. According to the NIRF ranking GVPE is rated high compared to GMRI. Considering the Placement data GMRI College have good data with the median salary 4.52 lakh for B.E /B.Tech.

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering in GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam has higher cutoff through AP EAMCET and also has a lower fees.
