as education minister ramesh Pokhriyal sir resigned will it affect NEET UG dates?

Navneet Singh 7th Jul, 2021
Hi Malavika,

Your information about resignation of Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal is absolutely correct but India is a vast country which works on systematic manner. Do you think resignation of any minister will affect the career of our youth, the answer is NO. The education ministry comprises of various counterparts and even if there is no Education Minister at this moment, it doesn't mean that all their work will halt ,no ,the decision making & every single work is still going on even when I am writing this answer. And as far as we know, the Education ministry will soon get its Minister in a short while .
So, you really don't need to panic about the NEET examination dates it won't get affected by this, it is a routine transition, stay calm and focus on your preparations.

I hope this helps!!!
Thank you!!!

Education Minister said he removed 75% eligibility criteria for jee main 2021. thats meaning?

Shrishty sahu 21st Jan, 2021
Dear student,
According to the latest news, the education minister has said that the compulsory 75% criteria has been removed for admission in nit/iiit/gfti. This means that even uf students will score less than 75% in their class 12th boards then even they will be eligible for admission in nit/iiit/gfti. Earlier this year the 75% criteria had been already removed for admission in iit's and now it is removed for nit/iiit/gfti as well. This is a great decision by education ministry.

as per education minister told yesterday about 75% criteria dropped for IITS admission means the student who have appeard in 2020 and got 62% in HSC can get admission in NITS and IITS. plz confirm me that can i get admission into NITS also or this 75% criteria is drooped only for IITS.

Shubham Dhane 10th Jan, 2021

Hello,

No you cannot get admissions in NITs. The minimum 75% aggerate in your 10+2 level criteria is dropped only for admissions in IITs but it is still at play for admissions in NITs. It means even after qualifying for admissions in NITs through JEE main you won't be eligible for admissions in NITs as your aggerate is 62% in your 10+2 level. You are eligible to give JEE mains but not eligible for admissions in NITs. If you get good score in JEE mains and are eligible to give JEE Advanced and get good rank then you will be eligible for admissions in IITs even though your aggerate is 62% in 10+2 level.
