JIPMER Entrance Exam has been discontinued. Now admission to the MBBS course at JIPMER institute is through the NEET entrance exam. The exam will not be held at the institute itself, but at the respective center that candidates choose while filling the NEET UG application form. Further, if you get a good rank you can apply through the ALL INDIA QUOTA for admission to JIPMER institute.

JIPMER used to have a separate exam of their own for the admission in Medical Courses! But now, they have totally scraped out that and NEET is the basic priority considered for admission. Only your NEET Score will get you admision in JIPMER. There are 2 JIPMER Colleges one in Puducherry and another in Karaikal. The former has 150 seats and the latter has 50 seats!

Looking at the previous year trends baslp jipmer entrance exam has easy questions and the difficulty is similar to neet but what makes it more difficult than neet is that the competition increases based on the fact that the college accepting baslp jipmer entrance exam has less seats compared to the number of seat in colleges accepting neet scores.
yes, the exam has been cancelled for 2020 . The syllabus for the JIPMER exam entrance will be prescribed by state board higher secondary and CBSE of 11th and 12th syllabus. candidates should follow the NCERT books along some reference books . ITt include physics, biology , chemistry, logical Quantitative reasoning and English.
