Good luck
Dear Deepak
According to the OCI-NRI shortlisted list for 2019-20, total number of students are 60 and you have secured 43 rank and the total number of seats for NRI/OCI is 6 which means only 6 students among 60 students will get admission and as per the recent notice, the NRI/OCI student with 1-60 are shorlisted for 1st counselling and all the information conclude that you have very low chances to get admission in JIPMER.However, the decision for the counselling totally depends on you.
Good Luck.
Dear Shreya
According to the notice issued on the official website of JIPMER2019, the UR students holding ranks between 1-750 are shortlisted for the 1st counselling and for UR, only 74 seats are in total including 19 seats for Karaikal and total number of shortlisted UR student is 740.
This year, the last position in UR shortlisted list is secured with 99.4784013 percentile.
So, as per the information, I am sorry to say, you don't have good chances for admission.

All the best
Hello,
1963 is a good rank and therefore, you have chances of getting admission in MBBS/ BDS colleges under All India Quota as well as State quota. The chances of admission in state quota are higher than in All India Quota as usually the cut off in AIQ is more due to small number of available seats. Therefore, you can try for state quota admission procedure in your state.
Hope this helps.
Dear aspirant,
According to previous years cut off analysis(which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon a no of factors such as level of difficulty of jipmer this year,no of candidates applying for a seat from obc category etc etc so nothing can be said with 100% sureity ),last year last person to get into puducherry campus from obc category had a rank of 51 and that into karaikal had arank of 240, so you might not have a chance if rank fallout pattern remains same as previous year BUT THIS YEAR for the 1st round of counselling they have called ranks from 1-370 from obc category SO MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE ,below i am attaching a pdf from their official website which mentions ranks 1-370 shortlisted for round 1

Yes you can easily get it because many top rankers from northern india will prefer their state colleges or AIIMS over JIPMER.
