about jipmer medical college infrastructure and salary for MBBS graduation

iammohdshareef 1st Dec, 2019

JIPMER will no longer conduct its own medical entrance examination. If you want to join MBBS in JIPMER, you have to write NEET exam. JIPMER has 2 branches. The first one is in Puducherry and the new one is in Karaikal. Apart from all the regular departments that a Medical College would have, JIPMER also has a Cancer Research Center in its campus and Transplantation services as well. The Institution is spread over 192 acres accomodating Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Nursing courses. Now coming to the salary part, after completion of MBBS, you can work as a Doctor in various clinical settings. The pay might start at 25,000 INR initially but will increase with increased work experience. Arya 16th Dec, 2019

Hi Raja,

MBBS is a five-year Undergraduate course in the field of medicine. Up until last year, AIIMS and JIPMER conducted their own entrance tests for this course. However, they have been integrated with NEET UG from this year onward and these institutes will fill their respective MBBS seats by NEET UG scores.

what is the date of CAT and jipmer exam application fill-up date and last date

pdwords Student Expert 14th Oct, 2019

Hello,

CAT registration for 2019 started from 7th August and was opened till 25th September. So, it's concluded.

Secondly, you've tagged JIPMER MBBS, I'm presuming you want to know about its application dates. So, let me tell you now onwards there shall be only one entrance test for admission of MBBS and that is NEET. Earlier, AIIMS and JIPMER used to conduct their own entrance test which no longer will take place.

From 2020-2021 session onwards, NEET remains the sole entrance exam for admission for MBBS.

model question papers previous year

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 10th Oct, 2019

Hey there

Jipmer previous year questions sample question are in the link

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/jipmer-sample-papers/amp&ved=2ahUKEwiek7XalZLlAhVSjeYKHVJ0Di4QFjAAegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw1FHzb-6Zr4j1W2sW4DKXSa&ampcf=1

But from 2020 neet will be solely conducted and AIIMS and jipmer will be merged in it. So pattern of neet is expected to be changed.

Good luck
