is aiims and jipmer exam cancelled

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 10th Oct, 2019

Hello there!

Greetings!

Yes dear,  now there is no more AIIMS and Jipmer entrance exam,  now only neet exam is there for getting admission in medical colleges.  Even admission in AIIMS and Jipmer will be through neet only , so medical aspirants need to prepare for neet only now. So NEET score is valid for

admission to all medical colleges in India now.

Thankyou

In 2020 aiims and jipmer exam is included in neet so which on the basis nta provide medical college my mean which student get aiims collgae and AFMC collgae.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 7th Oct, 2019
Dear Ashok, it is yet to be known as how AIIMS and JIPMER would conduct their admissions. They might follow CMC Vellorr process where in Candidates are asked to apply for their College and separate merit list is prepared based on pre set cut offs. Or it might be the way IITs, NITs and GFTIs conduct their admissions based on JEE scores. It is still unknown how it might happen. Everything will remain the same for AFMC. AFMC will release its own cut offs, shortlist Candidates based on TOeLR, Psychometric Test and Final Interview. Nothing will change on that front.

Hello dear student,
As you have asked about the much of of AIIMS and jipmer into neet that is only one exam will be conducted all over India to select the  eligible students . News is very true and it's been said it will come into force by 2020. As per the National Medical Commission Act, will come into force from the next academic year (2020). While there are no more for the details on the topic and as soon as we will get any other update you will be informed or you can ask again anytime. It is a very good approach to select student without putting more burden  on the student of many different examination as every exam have different pattern. I hope this was helpful to you
