Dear aspirant
You can definitely get admission in the top colleges in Pune. Almost all the colleges demand candidates who have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examinations from any recognized board or university. The top colleges might have the criteria for aspirants to go for additional competitive examinations with certain cut-off marks in order to get shortlisted for admission, but you can get direct admission in colleges that accept candidates on the basis of merit, as your overall score in above 50%.
Best wishes!
Hope this was helpful.
Of course, you can get admission to Savitribai Phule University, Pune. The reason why I am saying so is that the University has some courses that require candidates to have a minimum of 45% aggregate, while some other courses demand a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination of class 12, from any recognized board or university. You have scored an overall of 55.23% in HSC, which is definitely considered an eligible score to get admission to the University. The University also conducts entrance examinations, Personal Interviews, and might also require candidates to appear certain competitive examinations, each depending on the type of course they choose. But in case of eligibility, you can definitely apply for admission to the University.

Hey there
It is generally seen that state board students do have complains regarding their marks as compared to students from cbse etc. But they actually do not get biased while making and there is no instructions given to the teachers to check strictly. But it's true that state board has a little strict checking that's why jee mains used to give more weightage to state board students while preparing ranking. So do not get panic.
Good luck
