Yes, you can get admission in B.Com (Honours) courses with 65% marks in Class 12 in Commerce, even if you have not studied Maths.
Most colleges offering B.Com (Honours) require Commerce background but do not always insist on Maths in Class 12. However, some top universities may prefer or require Maths, so it's important to check the specific college or university eligibility criteria.
With 65%, you have a good chance of admission in many colleges offering B.Com (Honours), especially in state universities and private colleges.

Hi,
If you got RT (Result Awaited) in Maths and Chemistry but have 6 subjects , you can appear for the compartment exam in Maths . If you clear it, you will be considered passed in that subject.
Make sure to follow the guidelines from your board regarding compartment exams, and prepare well to clear them. Once you pass, you'll be eligible for further studies.
Hope this helps!
If you failed your Maths compartment exam and haven't passed, you won’t meet the eligibility for courses that require Mathematics .
You can reappear for the compartment exam next session or consider other programs where Maths is not mandatory. Contact colleges directly for specific eligibility details.
Hello,
Great to hear that you successfully cleared your compartment in Maths! It means you've now officially passed your 12th board exams, and you're eligible to apply for higher education courses without any issues. Most colleges and universities accept compartment-cleared candidates as long as the subject is cleared within the stipulated time and you meet the eligibility criteria for the course you're applying to. Make sure to keep both your original mark sheet and the updated compartment result ready during admissions, as some institutions may ask for both.
Hope this helps. All the best!
HEY THERE!!
Best Maths Books for Class 11, 12, and JEE :
For Class 11, 12, and JEE Maths, the best books to use are NCERT textbooks because they cover all the basic concepts clearly and are important for both board exams and JEE. After that, RD Sharma is very helpful for practicing many problems and understanding topics deeply. For JEE-level questions, Cengage Mathematics is excellent as it has challenging problems and detailed explanations. Arihant’s Objective Mathematics is also good for practicing multiple-choice questions, which are common in JEE exams. Starting with NCERT and then moving to these books is a good plan.
