Psychology
Both BA Psychology and BSc Psychology are undergraduate psychology programs, but they have distinct differences in focus and curriculum:
A BA in Psychology typically has a broader focus on the social sciences and humanities. It incorporates psychology within the context of arts and social science disciplines.
- Curriculum: It often includes subjects like sociology, anthropology, philosophy, and history alongside core psychology courses.
- Career Paths: Suitable for students interested in psychology from a social sciences perspective and those who might want to integrate psychology with other fields such as social work, counseling, or education.
BSc in Psychology leans more towards the scientific and quantitative aspects of psychology. It is more research-oriented and includes a significant focus on biological and experimental aspects of psychology.
- Curriculum: Typically includes courses in research methodology, statistics, biological psychology, cognitive psychology, and other science-related subjects. It is designed to provide a strong foundation in the scientific principles of psychology.
- Career Paths: Ideal for students interested in pursuing further studies in psychology (like an MSc or PhD) or careers in research, clinical psychology, or areas that require strong scientific and statistical skills.

Hello Aspirant,
Of course. You have a possibility of being admitted to a college for a BSc in nursing under PMSSS if you received 80% of your grades in class 12 from open merit. It's crucial to remember that PMSSS cutoffs might change from year to year and amongst various universities. Given the foregoing, it is recommended that students wishing to enrol in B.Sc. Nursing programmes for the Academic Session 2024 take the test in order to be eligible for admission under the PMSSS supernumerary quota in any nursing institution in India.
ALL THE BEST
Hello Aspirant
This is a good choice that you are making, pursuing two degrees at once. This makes your future secure and also makes you not waste extra years. But keep in mind that pursuing two degrees at the same is a hectic job and will demand a lot from you. You can pursue your law degree from distance education as you are already doing an MA in Psychology from regular classes at MIT WPU. For BA LLB, there is CLAT exam (Common Law Admission Test) which is a national-level exam for this degree. When you clear it, you can fill out forms for distance educational institutes. Other exams for BA LLB are DU LLB, AMU Law exam, MHCET (for Maharashtra's colleges), LSAT, etc.
All the best for your future endeavors!
