Sometime most of the students preparing for JEE give SAT. But they get worlds some top university like Harvard, MIT, Cal tech, etc not IIT. I would say that SAT and JEE are totally different. SAT is more based aptitude. So most of the smart students clear this exam

In Order to prepare for any PCM based Exam, first you have to study the basic books of Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. The basic book is NCERT. First, go through the NCERT, solve it's problem then go for some higher level books like HC Verma for Physics and others.
