There are basically two types of colleges ,one is universities that offers degrees in various fields such as arts, commerce etc along with engineering, in such colleges the engineering degree is called Bachelor Of Engineering (B.E) and the other are institutes/colleges  which offer only engineering degrees and in those colleges the engineering degree is called Bachelor Of Technology(B.Tech). B.E and B.Tech are undergraduate courses that a student can pursue after completion of their 10+2 exams with the required subjects and requisite marks.
