8814 rank in ouat and 76.98 weightage can i get any seat in ouat bbsr..sebc category nd female

OISHEE BANERJEE 18th Jul, 2025

With a rank of 8814 and a weightage of 76.98, it is unlikely that you will get a seat in OUAT Bhubaneswar, especially in highly preferred courses like B.Sc. Agriculture.

Seats in the Bhubaneswar campus are limited and usually go to candidates with ranks within the top 500–700, even in reserved categories like SEBC. Your weightage is fair, but the rank is on the higher side for the main campus.

However, you may still have a chance in:

  • Other OUAT campuses (like Chiplima, Bhawanipatna)

  • Lower preference courses (like Horticulture or Forestry)

  • Spot or mop-up rounds (if vacancies remain)
