in case of girl candidate are you the only girl or child of your parents from the main application bit I am getting confused and i am the only girl child of my parents and i have younger brother so what should I answer YES or NO

Ayshwarya Mahadevan 2nd Dec, 2025

The question in the application form can definitely be confusing, but the meaning becomes clear when you break it down. When they ask “In case of girl candidate, are you the only girl child of your parents?” , they are not asking whether you are the only child in the family. They simply want to know whether your parents have only one daughter .

In your case, you mentioned that you are the only girl child of your parents , and you also have a younger brother. Having a brother does not change your answer, because the form is asking only about the number of daughters , not about the total number of children. So even though you are not the only child, you are the only daughter , and that fits the category.

Therefore, the correct answer in your application should be YES .

This question is generally asked because some institutions have special fee concessions or scholarships for the only girl child category. So it’s important to choose the right option to ensure you do not miss any benefits.

If you feel confused about any other part of the application form, you can ask anytime. All the best.

What are the major steps to get selected in MEXT??

Ayshwarya Mahadevan 3rd Dec, 2025

To get selected in the MEXT Scholarship, you need to follow a clear multi-stage process. First, you must meet the eligibility criteria related to academics, age, and nationality according to the category you are applying for, such as undergraduate, research or teacher training. The next step is submitting the application form along with documents like transcripts, research plans or study plans to the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your country. After document screening, shortlisted candidates are called for a written examination, which usually tests English, Japanese and subject-related knowledge depending on the scholarship type. If you clear the written test, you will then face an interview conducted by the embassy panel to check your motivation, academic potential and suitability for studying in Japan. Candidates who pass all these stages are recommended to MEXT, and the final selection is made by the Japanese government. Maintaining a strong academic record, writing a clear study or research plan and performing well in the test and interview significantly increase your chances. All the best!

What career fields interest me?" and "What skills do I want to develop?". You can also consider practical matters like "How much will this cost?" and "Will I be able to get financial aid?". Finally, evaluate your potential fit with a college by asking, "Is this environment right for me?".

Ayshwarya Mahadevan 2nd Dec, 2025

Choosing the right college becomes easier when you focus on what truly suits you instead of following what others recommend. First think about what career fields interest you the most and what kind of skills you want to build during your college years. When that becomes clear, start comparing colleges based on important points such as the courses they offer, the quality of teaching, placement record, internship opportunities, campus facilities, student support, and location.

It is also important to look at practical factors like the total fee structure, hostel and living expenses, travel distance, and whether you will be able to get scholarships or any type of financial assistance. Many students also visit the campus or speak to seniors to get an honest idea about the environment, workload and overall learning experience.

In the end, the right college is the one where you feel comfortable, motivated and confident that it will help you grow academically and personally. If you want, you can also share your interests, preferred course, and budget, and I can help you shortlist suitable colleges. All the best.

Gk ka questions hai ki machhli kab pani piti hai

Akhila A 3rd Dec, 2025

Hello
Machhli (fish) paani nahi piti , kyunki machhli ka respiration gills ke through hota hai. Machhli oxygen ko paani se absorb karti hai , aur usse saans leti hai. Isliye machhli ko paani peene ki zarurat nahi hoti, wo apni saans gills ke madhyam se leti hai.
