If your name and date appear in different types of font styles on your passport size and postcard size photo, then it is usually acceptable provided that:

• The name and date are clearly shown and readable on both photograph.
• The photographs otherwise meet the official requirements (size, background and clarity etc.).
• There are no alterations or discrepancies in identity.

NEET officials check primarily for clarity and identity. Font style inconsistencies are fairly safe unless purposefully disguised or unreadable. Just to take precautions, you may want to carry additional printed copies of both the pictures and any printed copies posted in the NEET application.

For NEET 2025, photo requirements are strictly defined by the NTA (National Testing Agency), and non-compliance may lead to issues at the exam center.

• Get both photos printed clearly and professionally, matching the exact specs and upload.

• Avoid different fonts or edits.

• Carry at least 4-6 copies of each as backups

• Both photos must match the uploaded ones exactly.

• If your printed photos (passport/postcard) differ in background, size, clarity, or name/date style, you might be barred from entry or asked to correct it before entry.
