I am CBSE improvement candidate and (improved result 80%) I have to fill registration form of jee main. Their is option of Roll number,School, School pin code,district, state etc. I had given improvement exam from other state Which I will consider, original or region of improvement exam

Hello aspirant

For a jee main application form you need to fill improvement marks sheet which you have secured for 12th standard. The eligibility to appear for jee mains is you must pass 11th and 12th standards there no certain percentage that you need to gain. But make a point that you need to have 75% marks in your intermediate if you are willing to write Jee Advance Exam.

Hello Aspirant,

As per the information brochure released by NTA for JEE-Main 2021, if the candidate has passed his class 12th from one state and appeared for improvement from other state than the state of eligibility for that candidate will considered as the state from where the candidate has passed/appeared for class 12th. On December 16th 2020 the application process for JEE-Main 2021 February attempt has been started by National Testing Agency (NTA) which is the conducting authority for JEE-Main 2021. You can apply for JEE-Main from the official portal of JEE-Main which is given below :-

Note that this application process will continues till January 16th 2021 and last date for payment of application fee is January 17th 2021 after which neither application nor application fee will be accepted and then after the correction window will be opened for the applicants from January 19th to January 21st 2021. Admit cards will be available for download from second week of February 2021 and the examination will be conducted from February 23rd to February 26th 2021 in two shifts per day, for February attempt.

A candidate will also have option to apply for one Session or more than one Session (February/ March /April /May 2021) together and pay exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for one Session, he / she has to pay Examination Fee only for that Session during the current application period and will have opportunity to apply again for the March/ April / May Sessions.

Some insights of JEE-Main 2021 :-

> To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteria but yes if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category.

> Also from this year according to New Education Policy the JEE-Main examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and other regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.

> In JEE-Main 2021 there will be total 90 question out of which you have to attempt only 75 (25 from each section) and there will be two sections for each subject, Section-A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)(20 compulsory questions) and Section-B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value (10 numerical based questions out of which only 5 are compulsory to be attempted).

> In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for Section B.

> All question will be of 4 marks and in MCQs there will be negative marking of (-1) on incorrect attempt.

at place of roll number of class 12 board which have to consider original or improvement exam roll number

hsingh22609 see it depends upon the number of subjects for which you have appeared in improvement exam like if there is only one subject then you have to give the roll number of original marksheet otherwise you have to give the roll number of improvement marksheet.
