Yes you're elegible with minimum 50% marks in graduation and entrance exam score is must like CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT for top end colleges. Start preparing from final year itslef. You can alternative ly take up work experience and simultaneously appear for CAT to gain bonus points as work experience candidates are given more preference over freshers. Yes of course you're eligible there is no restriction regarding the field in which you have done your graduration for pursuing MBA degree.

Only you need to satisfy the min percentage criteria of 50% in all of your academic degree I.e. 10th 12th and graduation (BA).

On a positive side I would like to tell you that most of the students enrolling in IIMs or other management colleges are engineers so to maintain diversity they prefer non engineers. You will not only able to get additional marks in your aggregate total for being non engineer but also will be able to get an interview call from top IIMs at a little less percentile than the ones who are engineers.

So give your best, aim to secure atleast 98+ percentile you will surely have a high probability of getting selected in a top IIM.

So whether arts. commerce or science you can appear for MBA course.

To apply for CAT, you should have scored minimum 50 percent if from general category and from other reserved categories its 45%.
The application for CAT entrance is ongoing. You can apply it from here .
Also it is advised do not stick to just one exam, give other management exams as well so that you do not stuck to admissions in your choice of college.

Aim to score above 97.7-99.7 percentile above to get admission in top MBA institutes including IIMs.
