Dr. Ambedkar Institute of engineering for handicapped serves for handicap people with with free uniform and tution fees to every handicapped student, and 60% seats are reserved for handicapped students and in the case of unavailability of handicapped children the remaining seats are filled by the general students but only on the basis of their UPSEE rank. So No it is not necessary, even general students can also apply for admission in Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Engineering for Handicapped
