Dear Krishna, Private Medical Colleges have 3 types of seats. First is A Category seats which are contributed to the Government and the admissions to these seats are based on State Counselling by the respective State Authorities. The 2nd Category is B Category seats which are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through Direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. The last Category is NRI seats Category and the name speaks for itself. Now, the first Category seats are filled in by State Counselling only and not through All India Counselling. Abd because the admissions are conducted at State level, non domicile candidates cannot apply for these Government Seats. You may have to apply through Management Quota for that.
