In 2019 the cut off for Engineering Physics dual degree in NIT, Agartala was 37914 for other state genera category. With 85 percentile your overall expected rank will be around 130351. In September session 12,00,000 candidates are expected to appear so by this you need to score minimum 97 percentile of above so that you may secure a rank below 37,000 because cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam etc.

Hey! The National Institutes of Technology are autonomous public technical and research universities located in India and are among most reputable institutes of technology in the world. If you are non home state student then you must get a rank below 8000 to get a seat in NIT Agartala / otherwise being a home state student you get a relaxation of around 2000 rank. Among them the better one that I can suggest you is national institute of technology Agartala or nit Agartala. It is one of the best government nighties which secure 75th rank in n i r f ranking. The faculties of computer science and engineering branch are very much friendly and supportive also. They organised various kinds of seminar and programs to enhance the academics. The computer labs are too good also. The placement is completely depend upon a student how much activities he did in 4 years. In the term of this there are various kind of activities all over the year. Computer science and engineering branch cost total 5.5 lakh for general categories. the placement rate is about 80 percent. The the medium salary package is about 5.5 lakh per annum.

By the JEE Mains formula= (100 - Your Percentile)+ 869010/100 your rank comes out to be near 59,000 AIR in Common rank list. And looking at NIT Agartala last year cutoff the last student to get admission in any branch being in OBC category had AIR ~20,000.

Cut-off are different for different courses and different categories, since you have not mentioned the name of c ourse and your category so it is little bit difficult to give you the proper guidance about that.

For rough estimate cut-off for NIT Agartala goes upto 1 Lakh.

Both the institution are good and famous but NIT is more famous and doing b.tech from NIT is worth doing so you should go for NIT.

Hello student. NIT agartala is indeed a good college. But the placements are average. Branches like cse and others get comparitively better companies with better packages.

But remaining other branches the placements and the number of people who get placed is just average.

sorry to say securing only 70 percentile, there is no chances to get admission in nit agartala for computer science engineering branch, even for your category,  since cse is a most demanding stream right now.
