Beautiful campus,well maintained. There's a wildlife century inside the campus! All facilities are available, equipments are maintained & infrastructure is top notch. Library steals the show ngl. Classrooms are the best!

IIT Madras is the premier of engineering in India, no doubt in that. Even the online/hybrid degree is hard. Which started as a side degree now requires standalone hardwork. Quality of teaching is excellent!

IITM Cell regularly keeps updating us for internship opportunities during the degree and seniors say that they provide help with placements aswell. Average salary can start from 4-6 and go upto your hardwork & smartwork.

For first year it's just 16k INR. Increases every year, total degree cost is under 3-4 Lakhs. Best value for money degree in india right now! Additionally after four years you gain IITM Alumni status!

We have an yearly fest called Paradox. Data science students visit once a year during that. Electronic systems students visit campus for labs aswell. Aero science students allegedly will spend their last 2 years in the campus.

If you've just passed 12th, irregardless of your field and you want to join tech/management industry, join this degree.

It's infrastructure is good because it is count in our country's premier engineering institute it also has a too vast campus in which there are all types of facilities are available here like labs hostel and much more

Academic performance is very good. It also maintain his legacy since too many year and well rank in nirf ranking which show the level of this college academics. And one important thing that it is type of college in which must something do crazy by your own

Placements is also excellent because many of the students persue higher education and other get very good placement tha placement of this college is about to average approx 30-40 lpa which is too good for engineering and most of them get above crores.

It is value for money because you will get best return on investment from anywhere. This is decent college and every bank easily gave you education loan for this premier engineering institute. This doesn't hesitate it is a dream college.

Campus life is also good because it has very large campus around 620 acres which is too good and in this campus you will get all types of needed things like zym hostel hospital banks smart laboratory of all branches of engineering and other .

College has a great infrastructure and provides a great place for learning students are very friendly and you get to meet a lot of new friends and i highly reccomend that you enroll in this college as this has been one of my best experiences

Placements are very nice students get very high placement as we have a dedicated placement section for this degree the placement support is very nice and you will definitely be placed if you are a deseeving candidate

Campus life is really nice as you get to expience paradox which is one of the best events that happen in our college as people from all over the country come together to celebrate this degree and its a really nice event

I don't personally like the infrastructure of the college because of the campus they have. The interior of the buildings was very outdated. Also the living space was not clean and food is also not hygienic.

About academics the professors were deeply into theoretical knowledge not practical knowledge they did not give practically example of the topics so the student can understand this better from theoretical

The highest salary packages to the student was given is 20 to 25 lakh only and Everest packages was below 6 to 7 lakh which is not good because other colleges give more than this packages to the student

Top notch College infrastruture One can get every facilities from library to swiming pool, from Basket ball court to Research park. You just name it. Super speed wifi, All the spaces in the campus is clean. Everyday cleaning happens in hostel washrooms. Different options like veg, non-veg, jain are available in mess.

I did BS in Data Science and Applications, which is a Hybrid course, i.e lectures are recorded with weekly livesessions and in-person exams 3 times every trimester. This course is equipped with all the necesaary skill and tech stack that is needed for a good carrer in Data Science, anlytics, GenAI etc.

Although placement cell is also there for the BS course and avg internship is 20-25k and avg full time is 6-8 LPA. But what I beleive is it mostly depend on the individual , how they perform , how they use the knowledge and skill that is thought in the degree, are they pushing themselves extra mile? I have seen students getting 15-20 LPA offcampus with going the extra mile.

If you are a serious student, then definitely a value for money.

The infrastructure of IIT Madras is excellent and well developed , providing a comfortable and productive environment for students . The campus is large ,green , and peaceful . Classrooms are modern with digital facilities and laboratories are well equipped for practical knowledge . The library is spacious with wide range of books. Hostels facilities are good with proper hygiene , security , and basic amenities . The campus also offer strong wifi connectivity, medical facilities , canteens, and well maintained sports ground for both indoor and outdoor activities . At IIT Madras placements are very good with large numbers of students getting placed every year. Many reputed companies visit the campus , especially for technical and core roles. The highest packages are quite high , particularly for the top branches. While the average package is decent . However , competition is also strong. So students needs to work consistently on their skills. The placement process is well structured , and the college provides good support through training , internships, and guidence which helps students become job-ready.

The fee structure is quite reasonable . especially with the availability of financial support . Students from the families with income below 5 lakh or equal to 5 lakh can get up to 75%of fee concession , which make education more accessible . Considering the quality of education , experienced faculty , strong placement and overall exposure , the college offers excellent value for money. Overall , the return on investment is very good for most students

our college have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities we have sports complex with all major sports pitch and our labs are highly modern and well equiped with latest instruments and tools with enough spaces and hygienic food

our programs are designed by industry experts and professors they teach us the latest technologies which is industry ready , the curriculum is tough they teach us about gen ai machine learning techniques which is highly valued skill for todays market

our courses are hybrid in nature so it is not yet popular in market but on the other hand this course is highly industry ready so students are grabing opportunities both from iit madras placement cell and by their own , as of 2025 the median salary was 8.09 LPA , average salary 10 LPA , highest salary 15-25 LPA

most of the students who are studying in this program belongs to below poverty line as there parental income is less than a lakh and they are receiving high quality education as the total cost is around 2.42 - 3.5 lakhs and yes it is worth paying as the roi is good

one of the cons of this course is you will be having a bad campus life or simply you will not have any campus life except 4-5 days paradox fest which comes every year , you will have to study from your home and give exam at your nearest centre so the campus life is poor
