it is possible to apply for admission in NIT without GATE . You will be required to satisfy the minimum criteria for qualifying marks in your bachelor's degree as well as provide work experience and some NITs also conduct their own entrance exam which you can appear for..

LNMIIT : In 2020 a total of 445 candidates from the undergraduate batch enrolled for placement drive out of which 374 candidates participated in it and a total of 56 companies participated in the placement program. YOUR CATEGORY RANK IS CONSIDERED FOR ALLOTMENT AND REMEMBER U CAN OCCUPY A GENERAL CATEGORY VACANT SEAT TOO.

Now, If you ask what is simple or complex, there is no answer. I'm replying in a different way, which might work in your favour. The cutoff for the CSAB round may be lower or higher than JoSAA. This depends on how many applications there are and how well-qualified they are academically. Nobody can anticipate whether you'll win or lose, much like with a lottery ticket. You do have a chance, though, if your ranking is around the JoSAA cutoff for the seventh round. If you have a larger rank disparity, you may be able to apply to schools with low ranks. Avoid submitting applications to universities where, even if you were accepted, you would have to pay a fee before being given a place.
