National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA) offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc PhD and many other courses available for admissions 2024. NIT Agartala courses are offered in full-time mode. NIT Agartala UG courses are B.Tech, B.Tech+M.Tech, BA+MS. NIT Agartala PG courses include M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA and MCA. National Institute of Technology Agartala offers PhD in specialisations like Mechanical Engineering, Management, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and many more.
National Institute of Technology Agartala courses are offered in streams of engineering, architecture, arts, humanities and social science, management, computer application and IT. The details of NIT Agartala courses and fees are given below.
NIT Agartala Fee Structure 2023
The fees of NIT Agartala include tuition fees, mess charges, and other refundable and non-refundable charges. The current fee structure of NIT Agartala released by the institute has been revised from the previous year. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD are exempted from paying tuition fees as per the provisions of the NIT Agartala fee structure. Additionally, economically backward students with a family income of less than one lakh rupees are also exempted from paying the tuition fees of NIT Agartala. The detailed fee structure for NIT Agartala is divided into semester categories that can be accessed below in the table.
NIT Agartala Hostel fees 2023-24
The NIT Agartala offers hostel accommodation facilities for male and female students. The NIT Agartala hostel fee structure is provided as follows, which is determined by the NIT Agartala administration.

Note:
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD are exempted from paying the tuition fee.
Candidates with a parental annual income of less than one lakh rupees will also be exempted from paying the tuition fees.
The candidates with parental annual income between one lakh and five lakhs will be provided two-third of the remission of tuition fees.
How to Pay NIT Agartala Fees
All the selected candidates will need to make the fee payment in online mode only. However, the candidates who have received education loan will need to submit the Demand Draft directly to the Institute.
Here are the steps to make online fee payment at NIT Agartala:
The candidate will need to log in to the personal MIS portal of NIT Agartala.
A new web portal will be activated where the candidate will need to click on the “ONLINE PAYMENT”.
Select the payment option of “SBI EPAY” and proceed.
Select the option “COMMON PAYMENT INTERFACE” and submit.
After submission, the candidate will receive a confirmation email regarding the payment on the registered email address.
Candidates are advised to save the email address and the softcopy of the payment for future reference.
Here are the steps to make offline fee payments at NIT Agartala:
The candidates who have received education loans should carry a Demand Draft Bank Transfer Receipt for the amount displayed in their personal MIS account.
In case the particular bank has directly transferred the amount to the Institute, the verification will be released only after the confirmation of the Accounts Department or from the office of the Chief Warden.
Candidates are not allowed to make any part payments of the payable fee to the Institute.

The mode of payment of fees at NIT Agartala is online and can be deposited through Debit/Credit and Net Banking. Students who have taken education loans will need to pay the fees at the institute in the form of a Demand Draft.

It has all the required infrastructure, but it is pretty old so it has few issues, hostels are also pretty clean. The sports complex is the largest in the northeast region. It has a shopping complex which has all the required items for a student

College Infrastructure
NIT Agartala has a sprawling campus with a mix of traditional and modern infrastructure. As a B.Tech student, I benefit from well-equipped classrooms, a comprehensive library, and dedicated spaces for group work and study.

College Infrastructure
The college has the best technology. It has a wonderful 350-acre campus with single room hostel facility. There is a language lab to develop your personality. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled to non-stop supply of knowledge. There is a knowledge centre with the latest books and journal.

To get a seat.in any NIT candidates has to appear inJee mains exam with a sc ore of atleast 90 percentile of marks for general candidate.But for EWS candidates the percentile of marks in jee mains is 85-80 percentile of marks in jee mains for below category NIT like NIT Goa,NIT Hamirpur,NIT Agartala,NIT Srinagar,NIT Nagpur,NIT Silchar,the rank required for these NITs mentioned above within aiq 30,000.As you have the rank of 28,000 in jee mains so you have a chance for admission in any of the NITs among 31NITs in India.

Dear aspirant,
According to the alumni reviews,
NIT Agartala offers pretty good infrastructure and other facilities for the course yo continue.
About, 70 percent of the students who enroll into the course get placed and the top recruiters are Wipro, Accenture, Suzuki, Tredence. The recruitment is usaully by IT companies and hence, there is not much scope for core jobs.
The faculty members are not that great but you have a really good chance of getting good internship opportunities.
In short, if you are interested in CS and are only choosing this branch for getting into the college, then, you have a really good opportunity if you are willing to go the extra mile.
