Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment we have classroom, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels they are used and maintained very well the hall management council takes care about all these.

As IIT Kharagpur is one of the oldest college and oldest IIT, it has a poor infrastructure. It is very old and very few parts are renovated. Although it has all the facilities, it lacks modernisation.I

I am studying electrical and instrumentation engineering as I am interested in chip manufacturing and its potential future. The quality of teaching is good. Kgp curriculum updated in 2024 and is very good.

Placement is pretty good. Percentage wise it is low but the placements are very good. Almost all the companies come for placements for almost every role. Kgp highest placement was 2.44 crore this year.

THIS COLLGE campus is one of the largest in India with beautiful surrounding lawns modern classrooms, libraries, high-tech laboratories, and sports room there is the facilty of seperate gym and hostel for boys and girls wifi availability

Placements are excellent and among the best in India many students get selected by top national and international companies with high salary packages specially in engineering field as compared to other colleges as it is well known college various big companies visit for placement

I have always appreciated having a dedicated research desk and reliable internet access in the department which is an essential part for a Doctor of Philosophy student. The laboratories were continuously upgraded, allowing me to conduct cutting-edge experiments for my thesis.

I rate this lower because I did not use the central placement cell. I handled my job search individually. I heard that the placement cell was more active for the students of Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology course. For me my course was more about creating career options than being placed by a recruiter, so I had to be proactive in networking and showcasing my original work.

This program offered excellent financial value because the monthly stipend fully covered my living expenses and I never had to worry about rent or fees. I also had access to travel funds that helped me present my work at international conferences, which was priceless for my professional development.

I experienced great independence living in the hall of residence. I truly enjoyed the late-night talks and activities that me and my friends used to do. The college environment is fun but focused. Sometimes, I had to study during my free time because of the vast syllabus.

The facilities offered are top notch classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and library is very big and strict Library are full of books there is also I mac labs. The facilities in hostel is good with open gym mess and study area and canteen. The quality of mess food is good and hygienic .

The teachers are freshers only and lack experience they are youngsters only but the curriculum is according to industry demand. The teachers are given PPT to only read in class and nothing more. Courses are relevant and make students industry ready the semester exams are of medium level.

60 to 70 percent students gets placed here in computer Science and engineering the highest package was of 3 crore but was off campus and the highest package in on campus was 64 LPA the average package is around 7lpa. Top recruiting company was amazon microsoft flipkart and Capgemini .
