All necessary infrastructure and facilities are there, classrooms, labs, libraries and top notch, while hostels are old so not good. Wifi is available every time inside and near hostel. Food is kinda bad but several canteen options available so just an extra rs ₹3-4k/month required to survive at the campus

The academic curriculum is great, in first year you will mostly have common physics, chemistry, maths courses which are required in several different courses later on you can take so it's important. From 2nd years, depending on your departments core courses will spawn, faculties are good with great resources available, seniors help too.

Placements are really good here, as it's an old IIT. Roughly 30% take placement on campus while others take off campus. Apart from this, it doesn't matter which department you are in as long as you are active at campus and keep learning stuff you care about.

Food is value for money tho, they will cost you quite less on mess for the semester and it won't be satisfactory. While for hostels too it's not satisfactory as it's an old IIT, so old hostels. Well, for academics it's also not value for money, faculties may be good may be not as it happens everywhere. But the opportunities you get access to are extremely valuable, so at the end it doesn't matter.

Campus Life is great, you can roam around the campus whenever you feel like, it's huge and fun to explore with freinds. Hangout inside the campus at night and find hidden locations, there are lakes too, play games together. All sports facilities are available.

The college is great! It has all required infrastructure,facilities and equipment. From classrooms to practical lab,department everything is good. There is a grand central library , which is common to all students beside it there are independent hostel libararies, Every where there is smart quality equipments, AC, Wifi is all over the campus and yes it is well maintained. Yes the living spaces are clean and food are hygienic but taste was they are average(After all Hostel ),But there is Technology Market, and other places where there are great restaurents to eat.

I am studying Btech in Artificial Intelligence , because of my interest and modern demand of ai engineers. The curricullum is great as It is newly made , (we are 2nd batch),so the curicullum is really good and not old fashioned! Yes curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in feild. Yes absolutely,It makes me job ready!

As IIT Kharagpur is 5th nirf rank college, The placement is great. The highest package was INR 2 cr P.A and avg lies between INR 22 LPA-25 LPA. The placement process , I havent been gone through as I am in 2nd year , Its takes place through CDC placement committy. Let me see it and then I can give a genuine report.

My course is of 1 lakh Rs per year , as I have category ( so tution fee is waived) . Yes I am feeling my money is spended wisely and its for my betterment, There are fields college needs to update itself, but Its worth It!

Campus life is awesome . The best feature is independency , everyone treats you like adult! There are certain safety limitation but its fun. There are a lot of societies that students get involve and show their hidden talent! Its great to be a part of great community. Students, teachers support are limited and not that great , as we have a mass students so its not that much compatible. The location is at kharagpur,west bengal. Yes , Its safe . But the medical part is not that great, the emergency normal cases are handled but serious problems arent! They are taken to kolkata. In this field, the college needs to improve!

If someone wants a great college life, learning place, make good friends, have great seniors(Absolutely no ragging , 0 ragging) , I would recommend this college but only for study perspective (You have to study on your own mostly!)

Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment we have classroom, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels they are used and maintained very well the hall management council takes care about all these.

I'm studying in Architecture and Regional Planning enrolled in its barch course because I'm very interested about how the architectural study works like doing the works and assignments as a team.Curriculum is always updated and includes all the developments that are required in the field we can get ready for the job by studying whatever they teach us in the classrooms

Competition for the placements is very high as we are competing with the bright minds of the nation as everyone around you always explores something and makes himself better around 80% of the campus will be placed and the heighest package that is offered was around 2 cr

As IIT Kharagpur is one of the oldest college and oldest IIT, it has a poor infrastructure. It is very old and very few parts are renovated. Although it has all the facilities, it lacks modernisation.I

I am studying electrical and instrumentation engineering as I am interested in chip manufacturing and its potential future. The quality of teaching is good. Kgp curriculum updated in 2024 and is very good.

Placement is pretty good. Percentage wise it is low but the placements are very good. Almost all the companies come for placements for almost every role. Kgp highest placement was 2.44 crore this year.

THIS COLLGE campus is one of the largest in India with beautiful surrounding lawns modern classrooms, libraries, high-tech laboratories, and sports room there is the facilty of seperate gym and hostel for boys and girls wifi availability

this offers various programmes like engineering, sciences, management, design, law, and many more all the faculty members are well educated experienced supportive helpful undrstanding they are involved in many research work curriculum is well managed and revised properly

Placements are excellent and among the best in India many students get selected by top national and international companies with high salary packages specially in engineering field as compared to other colleges as it is well known college various big companies visit for placement

as it provide very modern facilities and it is private college fee structure is very high for all courses but it is worth it acc. to its facilities .

I have always appreciated having a dedicated research desk and reliable internet access in the department which is an essential part for a Doctor of Philosophy student. The laboratories were continuously upgraded, allowing me to conduct cutting-edge experiments for my thesis.

The research environment was exceptional and my supervisor pushed me to think globally and aim for top-tier conferences. I also valued the weekly research seminars and the ability to collaborate freely with the professors from other departments on interdisciplinary projects.

I rate this lower because I did not use the central placement cell. I handled my job search individually. I heard that the placement cell was more active for the students of Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology course. For me my course was more about creating career options than being placed by a recruiter, so I had to be proactive in networking and showcasing my original work.

This program offered excellent financial value because the monthly stipend fully covered my living expenses and I never had to worry about rent or fees. I also had access to travel funds that helped me present my work at international conferences, which was priceless for my professional development.

I enjoyed a unique sense of community because I lived in the hall for many years alongside with other scholars, especially fellow researchers. I found my social life centered on my department colleagues and research group, which was perfect for me at that stage.
