About NIT Agartala
National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA or NIT Agartala) was recognised by the government of India as an Institute of National Importance on April 1, 2006. NIT Agartala was formerly called Tripura Engineering College. NIT Agartala has 10+ departments, 200+ faculty and 3500+ students.
