UBS is not just about ROI, it offers a lot more.

The amount of exposure I received in my journey so far is astounding. The numerous cells and committees are the strong pillars of UBS, and being a part of some of them, I learned management skills which are beyond the curriculum. The faculty here is extremely proficient and open to limitless queries and challenges put up by the students. The robust alumni base is the feather on our cap. Guest lectures and workshops by our well-renowned alums give us the golden opportunity to interact with them and gain the practical industry knowledge. UBS is a challenge and I am glad I took it.

Experience of a Fresher

I came to UBS without any prior work experience, a fresher. I was a little uncertain about my decision because it was scary thinking that I would have to compete with people who have worked in the corporate sector before and who know how the industry works but it's been a great experience studying alongside such people. All the classes, assignments and case studies done with my peers in the past few months have taught me a lot and have helped me in my personal growth. Life at UBS has been very exhilarating up till now. It has given me a number of opportunities to learn especially how to manage my time between the classes, studies, club works, etc. I got to interact with people from the industry and some of our alumini who shared their experiences and gave us insights about what the corporates are looking for today. All in all, its been an amazing journey of knowledge and growth for me in UBS.

One of the best in the region

This is by far one of the best college in the northern region affiliated to one of the oldest universities (Panjab University) on India. where other college takes More than Rs 18 Lakh for MBA i did in just under 1 Lakh. Placements are very good.. Every year it achieves 100 % placement at an average of 7.75 Lakh which is very good considering the amount the fees this college is taking. There are also companies which offer packages of 20 lpa and 15 lpa. One of the big 4 finance company, KPMG visits every year to UBS. So you can very well imagine quality of education this department delivers to its students. It is highly recommended to choose this college out of the colleges like IMT-G, TAPMI, GIM, FORE, IMI-D.

My college is one of the best colleges of North India under one of the best Universities in India. The infrastructure is not good as it is a government institute but the faculty is highly qualified and experienced. The placements are solely dependent upon students only. The goodwill of the college in the region is very high. The course structure is highly markable. Overall all contentment with this college is very Good. I recommend any student who wants to study management as a career go for this institute. A big thumbs up

I find my college apt in all respects. According to the student's intake per year and the courses being offered , the infrastructure, curriculum and environment is apt. We have highly professional and experienced faculty who work really hard to benefit the students. Students here are highly career oriented as well. The ambience of the university and the city is very beautiful, enriching and positive.

hello aspirant..

University Business School Chandigarh selection process consists of CAT score, past academic record, GD, PI and work experience. To apply for UBS, a candidate must have a Bachelor’ s degree in any field with minimum required marks. Final selection is done through the overall performance of the candidates.  The overall cut off required for UBS Chandigarh Admission by a general category student is expected to be around 90 to 92 percentile. Admission to MBA programs will be granted to individuals who clear all rounds after considering their profile and academic background.

Students must fulfill the eligibility criteria in addition to clearing the CAT cut off as decided by the institute. The minimum eligibility criteria for UBS is given below..

  1. Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the final examination (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC and PwD candidates).
  2. They should have passed the final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
  3. Candidates should obtain a minimum of 10% score (5% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC and PwD candidates) in each section of CAT ( . This means they should clear the sectional cut off with at least 10% marks.

Hello Amit,

Hope you are doing great.

Well, Congratulations on your CAT score.

And yes, you may except calls fron UBS Chandigarh as they shortlist students scoring between 85 to 90 percentile as observed and analysed from previous years selection processes.

Also, you need not to worry about the eligibility criteria as the only eligibility criteria for pursuing MBA from UBS Chandigarh is scoring above 50 percent in aggregate in Bachelor's.

Though, it may affect you a little, but hope that your percentile makes it up.

Bur still to remain at the safe side, do apply to other colleges which accepts percentile between 85-90.

Please refer to the link I am mentioning below to get a list of the B-schools you may apply for the same.

Here it is :

Hope it is helpful to you !

All the best for admissions!
