There are number of various courses which Punjab university provide. There are many different colleges spread across Chandigarh, which is affiliated to it. I did B.com from there in 2023, and they had a very great faculty.
There are not many placement opportunities in this college as it is in government college. So there are not many companies which visit and higher the student. The placement rate of this college is not good, although they are improving it.
It is an lifetime experience to study in Punjab university. I personally think it is value for money for me as the fee structure is also not that much and it is very affordable and it gives you lifetime experience.
The campus life of this college is very good. There are many events and cultural activities which are held over here. One of the biggest activities which is held over here is elections and it provides opportunities to the student to interact with 1 and other.
Punjab University, Chandigarh, has been a fantastic choice for my B.Com. The infrastructure at Punjab University is really big, coveri ng a whole sector of Chandigarh. The campus is beautiful, with neat gardens, modern classrooms, and all the facilities you need. Bu I because the campus is so large, everything is a bit spread out, which can make it hard to find different departments.
The faculty members are so sweet and soft-spoken. They will help you with any kind of problem, and teachers are so oriented towar ds syllabus teaching properly that we won't face any difficult exams. Besides teaching the syllabus, they also give knowledge about other aspects, which will help you in further examinations.
We do have placement cell in our department but there aren't many placements awarded. There aren't much companies which appr paches. It's not only about mathematics department but almost all sciences department of university doesn't have much placement

Punjab University is worth the money, especially since it’s a government college. The fees are affordable compared to private colleges, but you still get a great education. The campus is well-kept, the teachers are knowledgeable. It’s a smart choice if you want a good education without spending a lot.
There’s always something fun or interesting going on, like cultural events, sports matches, and activities organized by student clubs. The campus is huge and beautiful, with lots of green spaces and gardens where students can relax and hang out.
Overall, pu was a great place to pursue my B.Com.
The infrastructure of the building of the hostel is fascinating, as it includes an organized room, a garden, and fun activity rooms. Different types of rooms are available, like 2, 3, or 4-seaters. Students can choose from their own will. Common rooms are provided with facilities like TV, AC, and computers for the convenience of students.

The cost of studing here is not that much. The course I am studying in cost around 20,000 per year. And the fee I am paying is worth as the education which is delivered by our professors is mind blowing.
Campus has various best features of it. There are E-rickshaws available at mere cost of rupees ten. The campus is clean and is full of trees. The canteens and stationary shops are available in almost each department. The staff is as well nice and approachable. The campus can handle emergencies as well given dispensary available within it. All the necessary shops are as well available. The campus life is pretty lively and enjoyable.
The infrastructure is just fine as it is a government institute. However, every classroom has a projector and is air-conditioned. The campus has an amazing air-conditioned Joshi library which is open for 24 hours. Girls hostels are well-equipped and are very clean. They include a gym guest rooms common room and study area. The campus has an amazing playground
The course material is quite outdated. and students refer to a lot of online courses to make themselves updated according to industry standards Students need to do a lot of live projects and utilise their time efficiently in internships to get real-time learning
Placements in our college are above par. Professors help students to get placed. and it depends on students and batch quality to get placed Students preferably choose marketing as majors and finance as minors as it is considered an optimal combination to get placed To como anies among big four, le KPMG and EY, visit our campus for placements. Other companies such as HSBC. Wipro are constant recruiters.

Hello from Careers360,
Thank you for your inquiry about admission to Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) for 1st PU (Pre-University, equivalent to 11th standard).
For admission to KV's 1st PU, here are the key points to keep in mind:
1. Admissions are usually based on the marks obtained in the 10th standard board exams.
2. The admission process typically begins after the 10th board results are declared.
3. KV generally gives priority to children of central government employees who are transferable.
4. You'll need to check with the specific KV school you're interested in for their exact admission criteria and process, as it can vary slightly between schools.
5. Keep an eye on the official KV website or the website of the specific school for announcements about admission dates and procedures.
6. You'll likely need to fill out an application form and submit it along with required documents like your 10th mark sheet, transfer certificate, etc.
If you need more specific information, it would be helpful to know which particular KV school you're looking at. Also, have you considered any backup options in case KV admission doesn't work out?
