Hi dear,

As per your profile, you belong to Tripura domicile. Based on that I'm considering you under All Quota. You have not mentioned your Caste Category, so I'm considering it as General Category and providing information based on it.

For your rank, based on previous year's cut-offs, it is difficult to get seat in Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata.

Also, cut-offs varies from year to year. Cut-offs depends on many factors like number of seats available, caste category, number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam etc.

You have chances of getting seat in below mentioned Colleges affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata based on previous year's cut-offs.

••St. Mary's Technical Campus Kolkata, Barasat

••Asansol Engineering College, Asansol, Burdwan

••Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Panihati, Sodepur

••Dr.Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex, Dum Dum

••JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani, Nadia

Hello Adarsh,

The cutoff for IEM Kolkata is 60%, the infrastructure is good and basic facilities are provided. Regarding placement record almost every student is placed and there is 100% placement,  but the package offered is not good. Average salary package offered is as low as 5 LPA.

On the other hand Doon Business School,  the infrastructure is average but good facilities are provided. Placement record of college is good with about 90% of the students getting placed and package ranges from 5 to 15 LPA.

So personally I think Doon business school is better

Thank you

Hello student BBA Course is one of the most preferable course these days because its have lot of scope and the duration of BBA is only 3years.
If you prefer institute of engineering and management then its really good because its a good college for bba. Placements are also good in this college you can easily get placed in a good company with an average placement of around 4to6lakh per annum (LPA).

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck

Institute of Engineering and Management, kolkata has a management quota. Through this you can get admission. Fees will be higher compared to regular students. But most of the time, they recommend to take admission in their UEM campus Jaipur or Kolkata. UEM is an autonomous institute, regular course fees is higher.

Poor experience ,complete waste of Time

College Infrastructure

It’s basically consists of only 2 classrooms .1 for Mba & other one for PGDM.The other rooms in the building comprise for Engineering batches .There is no canteen in the campus . You have to eat from roadside vendors .

The college is overall is good.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is quite good but it doesn't have ACs in BBA department (1st & 2nd year). It has smart class experience. Since we didn't go to college due to the pandemic so we don't have any idea about canteen.
