SCRIET Meerut Admission Process

Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut offers BTech and MTech courses in various specializations. SCRIET Meerut admission to BTech courses are done through the counseling conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Candidates having a valid JEE Main score can apply for BTech admission. However, if seats are left vacant, admission will be conducted based on merit once state counselling is over. Moreover, admissions in MTech courses are done through GATE or entrance exam conducted by the State Technical University / Ch. Charan Singh University.

B.Tech	Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies with 45 percent marks.

Documents required for SCRIET Meerut Admission

Authentic income certificate issued by the employer of the parents for Government scholarships (in case serving), Tehsil etc.
Medical Certificate from registered medical practitioner
Entrance allotment letter by the Govt. counselling agency
Transfer Certificate (TC)/Migration Certificate (original)
Character Certificate (original)

Academics

There are very good faculties in our collage and they are very helpful in nature and every department have their own faculties ,syllabus are much more similar like other university and updates every year as per their Job and carrier requirement.

According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know whether you have to report physically in the college or not.

I would like to tell you that you don't have to report physically if it is not possible. The college must have provided some information for the candidates who cannot report physically.

I have 5606 rank in uper and jee 132461 rank will I get this college with cse branch

As your JEE rank is 132461 and no reservation category, I don't think you have any chance of getting government college with cse branch.

Your UPSEE rank that is 5606 is good enough so you can try some private colleges like sharda university, Galgotias Institute and University , KIET etc..

What is the placement record of SCRIET FOR IT

Placements at SCRIeT under UPSEE is very ppor for Information Technology engineering stream as 30% candidates get job opportunities.

Average package is 3.1lpa and majority remain unplaced.

Many BPO comapnies seen participating and Faculties too not so supportive for placements.

Alumni support is negligible.

Overall not recommended.
