I have the final adjusted marksheet of graduation with date 26.09.2023 as supplementary exam whose result declared on 24.09.2023.final sem result declared on 25.08.2025.my final sem result declared earlier than sem 4 supplementary.my degree certificate also contain 25/08/23.what is date of passing?

Prachi Kumari 22nd Oct, 2025

Hello,

In your case, the date of passing will be considered as the date when your final result (including supplementary exam) was declared , because that’s the day you became eligible for the degree.

Your supplementary exam result was declared on 24-09-2023 , and your final marksheet is dated 26-09-2023 .

Therefore, your date of passing will be 24-09-2023 (the date when your supplementary result was declared).

Even though your degree certificate shows 25.08.2023 (the date of the regular final semester result), the actual passing date for you is the date when you cleared all papers, that is 24-09-2023

Hope it helps !

If a student is from telangana they can apply for reserved seat. In reservation in clat registration

Prachi Kumari 22nd Oct, 2025

Hello,

Yes, if a student is from Telangana, they can apply for a reserved seat in CLAT only if they belong to a reserved category such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PwD, as per the rules of CLAT and the participating National Law Universities (NLUs).

However, please note:

  • CLAT does not have a separate “Telangana state quota.”

  • Reservation is given based on category , not on the state, except in some NLUs that offer domicile (state) reservation for their own state students.

So, if you are from Telangana, you can:

  • Apply under your category reservation (like SC/ST/OBC/EWS) .

  • And you may get Telangana domicile reservation only in those NLUs that are located in Telangana (for example, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad ).

Hope it helps !

I belong to bc community and am a muslim should I get obc certificate to apply for rrb ntpc exam

Prachi Kumari 22nd Oct, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you should get an OBC certificate to apply for the RRB NTPC exam if you belong to the BC community and are a Muslim .

Here’s why:

  • In central government jobs (like RRB), the OBC category is considered under the Central OBC list .

  • So, even if your community is listed as BC in your state, you must check whether it is included in the Central OBC list for your state.

  • If it is included, then you can apply under the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category after getting a valid OBC certificate issued as per central government rules.

Hope it helps !

Sajal Trivedi 21st Oct, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Make a combined study plan that allots time for all subjects, with an emphasis on the overlapping themes of chemistry and physics, to get ready for both JEE Main and NEET.  To comprehend the various patterns of the two exams and enhance time management, master the NCERT textbooks first, then apply the same method of completing last year's papers and taking practice exams.
