Hii Abhishek

If you think that your preparation is well enough to get you into IIT next year then surely drop will be the better option. If you joined any coaching institute  previously then you get a rough idea that whether you may have that tendancy to clear JEE Advanced or not. First observe that zone.
Otherwise all the above colleges which you listed here are considered as one among the best private college so it will also be a better option to do your undergraduate UG Degree with these colleges.

Good luck

The Indian Institute of Management releases new admission policy every year for each of its campuses. Based on this policy, candidates successful inCAT examare granted admission.

Every IIMs admission policy is different from the other so the candidates must read the policy of their target IIMs thoroughly to understand the process.

The difference mainly lies in minimum CAT percentile cutoff and the composite score. In the top six IIMs the minimum cutoff is usually 90 while in the newer campuses the cutoff remains at 80. Similarly, some IIMs allot more weightage to Personal Interview than CAT and some allot more to academic profile.

For the academic session of 2018-2020, several campuses have released their admission policies.

Here we give you a broad overview ofIIM Sirmaur,IIM AmritsarandIIM Nagpur's admission policy based on last year's cutoff percentile and points distribution; as their 2017 criteria have not been announced yet.

IIM Sirmaur:

Since,IIM Sirmaur did not conduct WAT/PI rounds last year, admission was solely based on the candidates CAT score. Out of the total composite score of 50 points, 40 were allotted to CAT.

In all other IIMs, WAT/PI rounds are conducted after screening of candidates on the basis of their CAT score. WAT/PI rounds play the desider in admission.
IIM Amritsar:

IIM Amritsar admission process consists of two phases. In the first phase, the candidates are screened on the basis of their CAT score and in the second phase WAT/PI round is conducted following which successful candidates are offered admission.

Last year, IIM Amritsar fixed minimum CAT 2016 cut-off at 95.6 percentile for General category. CAT score was allotted maximum weightage of 40 percent.
IIM Nagpur:

IIM Nagpur takes into consideration a candidates past academic performance, work experience and CAT score to grant admissions.

Past academic performance includes marks scored in Class X, Class XII and Graduation. The candidates, on the basis of their marks, are given points from 1 to 10. This applies to the candidates who scored between 52% to 70% in Class X, XII and Graduation.

So, the candidates applying at IIM Nagpur must keep in mind that their academic profile must be as good as their CAT scores. Those with work experience stand a better change at selection than freshers.

The cut off varies year wise so according to previous year information the closing rank for round 1 was 62210 (DY Patil) so as per this much rank the safest score should be 360 and for KMC it was 9353 so as per this much rank better to get 500 approx to keep yourself in a safer side.

Good Luck!!!!
