It is quite difficult to tell only about one specialisation. However I am mentioning below the overall details of MBA:
Hi aspirant, based on your question let me tell you that the institute facilitates internships opportunities for the students. Around 98% students got placed in IISWBM MBA placement in 2021. Mostly the marketing specialization students get good jobs with hefty salary package, but for finance, HR and analytics, jobs are more related to their field of study.
The IISWBM, Kolkata does offer masters in social work/welfare (MSW). The college does boast 100% placement for the batch of 2020. The highest package offered was 12 LPA and the average package offered was 5 - 5.5 LPA. The top recruiters include L&T, Hope foundation, Piramel foundation, Hulladek etc. Hope this helps and Good luck
Both the colleges that you have mentioned above are excellent in their own way. They both have certain qualities that add up to their reputation. Now, if you are looking forward to select a college in between MDI Murshidabad and IISWBM then there are a few pointers that you must keep in mind:
1. Placements - I am assuming that most probably you are applying for a MBA course in these institutions and that's why placements are the most vital aspect that you should consider while choosing the college. MDI Murshidabad has an average package of 9L per annum and the highest package offered is around 12L per annum. Now coming to IISWBM, the average package is 5-6L per annum and the highest package offered is around 8-9L per annum. So in this accordance, MDI Murshidabad has an upper hand over IISWBM.
2. Campus Infrastructure - Both the colleges have beautiful campuses with all the necessary facilities and equipment maintained for the students. MDI Murshidabad is known for its state-of-the-art infrastructure with E-Libraries, hostel facilities, mess, cafeteria and lots more. IISWBM, on the other hand is known for its traditional buildings and cultural value grounds.
3. Faculty - Now in both the cases, the faculties are top notch. There are outstanding professors and support staff to help out the students in the their educational journey.
If you ask me, it is my personal opinion that MDI Murshidabad is a slightly better option in comparison with the IISWBM when the packages are compared. But on the other hand, IISWBM stands strong on its age old reputation and excellent educational background. I would suggest that you tally all these factors and then decide. All consider the facts like location, fee structure, ROI and curriculum differences before you take a decision.
