Institute of Management Study, Kolkata was established in the year 2006. It is a co-ed, private college affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University Of Technology Kolkata. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in streams such as sciences, computer application and IT, management and business administration, hospitality and tourism. The degrees offered at the Institute of Management Study are as follows-  BBA, B.Sc, BCA, B.Optom, BTTM, MBA, MHA, M.Sc, MPH, M.optom, MTTM. There are further 32 courses under these 12 degree options. Candidates can apply for admissions into their desired course provided they meet the eligibility criteria pre-determined by the college. The institute aims at providing equal opportunities in all respects to impart quality education for building up managers, teachers and researchers for the industry. The institute has its own dedicated placement cell that works to provide ample industrial training and placement opportunities for all its students. The Institute of Management Study is spread across an area of 22,000 sq.ft construction in five floors. The institute offers multiple facilities to its students like canteen facility, computer labs and IT infrastructure, departmental labs, etc.
