Hello,

You can’t skip Class 11 in a regular school; it’s a mandatory step in the CBSE/HBSE system. However, since you’re doing 10th from NIOS, you can directly take NIOS 12th after completing 10th, without attending 11th. This is completely valid and accepted by JEE Main and IITs, as long as your 12th certificate is from a recognized board.

If you want to shift to a regular school, you’ll still need to take admission in Class 11, because schools aren’t allowed to admit students directly into 12th.

So, best option is to continue with NIOS 12th after your 10th, it won’t affect your JEE eligibility or IIT admission, even if there’s a 1-year gap. Just ensure you study Physics, Chemistry, and Math's as your main subjects.

Hope you understand.

Hi there,

Yes, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE exams in the year 2027 if you meet all other criteria. But you cannot complete your 10th and 12th in consecutive years, as it requires a minimum of two years' gap between both classes.

NIOS, like all other recognized boards, follows this rule. You cannot skip class 11th. And if you complete your 12th class in 2027, considering you will complete your 10th class in 2025, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE exams in the year you passed 12th and the subsequent year.

Hope it helps!!!

Hello

If you're aiming for a CSE seat in this college through JEE, the rank you need really depends on the specific institute you're talking about—like whether it's an IIT, NIT, IIIT, or a state college. For top NITs and IIITs, you usually need a rank under 2,000–5,000 for CSE (general category), though it can vary based on your category and home state quota. For newer or less competitive colleges, the cutoff could go higher.

If you have completed 10th and not finished your diploma, you can still apply for some RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) government jobs. Many railway posts accept 10th pass candidates, such as Track Maintainer, Assistant Pointsman, Helper, and Porter. These jobs usually come under Group D category.

You should keep checking the RRB official website for new notifications and apply as soon as the form opens. Make sure your documents are ready before applying.

Hello,

After passing 12th, you need to prepare for exams like IBPS to get into the banking sector.

You can aim for jobs like Bank clerk,         Probationary Officer, Branch Manager.

For that you must have a Bachelor's degrees in any stream.

After 12th, you can start preparing for the exams along with pursuing the Bachelor's degree.

Hello,

With a NEET score of 600-620, your daughter has a good chance of securing a seat in a decent governmental medical college especially under the state quota, and potentially some private colleges. But it's important to remember the cut off varies in every institution, depending on the course and your category. You can try our college predictor tool for more information. Hello,

It's admirable that you've aimed to join the Merchant Navy as a girl after finishing your 10th grade. Although traditionally numerous positions in the Merchant Navy needed a 12th pass with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math), there remain career options for 10th pass graduates, particularly via GP Rating courses or NCV (Near Coastal Voyage) Deck Cadet training. These courses receive approval from the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS), India, and are provided by multiple maritime training institutions nationwide.

Start your journey by finding a DGS-recognized training institution and registering for a Pre-Sea GP Rating Course (lasting 6 months), enabling you to serve as a crew member on merchant vessels. Once you acquire experience and finish exams at sea, you can advance your career. Nonetheless, ensure that the institution you select is accredited and offers campus placement support.

Moreover, as a girl aiming to enter a male-dominated field, make sure the institute aids female cadets and be ready to fulfill the physical and medical fitness requirements needed for maritime professions. With perseverance, you can advance through the hierarchy and even aim for advanced qualifications such as DNS (Diploma in Nautical Science) or Marine Engineering later on.

Hope this helps. All the best!
