The hostel mess is not that good, but the infrastructure is pretty decent, mostly sufficient for everyone, including labs and classrooms. It is pretty difficult for day scholars to participate in any kind of sport activity because of the timing, but the club activities are good. And WiFi and library facilities are also provided by the college.
The faculty are pretty decent; they are mostly knowledgeable, and most of them are pretty helpful. The courses are updated and industry-ready, and we think they would be pretty helpful for the industries. The exams are difficult, and pass percentage is 40%.
Since everyone is currently facing a recession, placement is lower than usual, the average salary is around INR 12 lacs, and only 50-80% of the students are currently placed in the final year. Various companies come in search of students, both service- and product-based companies.
College infrastructure is not that great as compared to other colleges. I have heard our college was supposed to be a school primarily but later it was set up as a college. So infrastructure is not that satisfactory.
The professors are great. They try their best from their part but it also depends on the students performance whether they do well or not. I am doing bcom Programme and commerce department is great in college
I have No much idea regarding placements but there are societies in college which help students to get placement. I didn't tried for any placements so I don't think I am suitable to answer this question
The college has all the necessary equipments and they have all the facilities. The classrooms are fully air conditioned and lively. We have smart board, libraries , sports center facilities in our college.
Facilities like proper ventilation, electricity is available and importantly the wifi runs all around the university. There are many libraries in every institute with more than 500 books from science to mythology. The infrastructure of the college is very dynamic and is well equipped.
Graduates themselves have to get one..but one can get internship or entry level jobs easily, which will be quality assurance. The college tries to get companies but has not been able to host any on campus placement drive except a few which can not be considered "ON CAMPUS".
College infrastructure is good each building is neat and clean. All trees and greenery are greatly maintained. Classrooms could me more improved. Internet connection to each building shoukd be improved.
I have studied lectronics engineering here and teaching staff is good. Curriculum is updated recently and is enough challenging for students. There should be extra for attention forpoor students in academics.
Placements are ok we all have been aware of it last 2 yrs. 65-70% students were placed last year. Average package of our college placement is 4-5 lakhs for good students. Many companies such as Wipro, Amazon,HCl,etc come for interview in our college.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The facilities we have in our classrooms , libraries , sports centres are very good. It is very well maintained. The living spaces are also clean.
I was studying engineering in civil engineering . The quality of teaching is very good. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. The study also makes job ready.
The quality of placements at our college are very good. The percentage of students that were placed are very good. The placement process was easy and pleasant for you . The college was also supportive .
College have the all type of facilities like classrooms and the lab and the library . There is canteen is also available with the healthy food and tasty snacks . Hostel facilities is available with the food .
The faculty members are good in the way of teaching and the doubt clearing . The curriculum is updated to the current technologies . The faculties are having the deep knowledge of their respective fields .
The placement of core branches is good with an average of 7-10LPA. The placement of Electrical communication Engineering are good but not on the level of core branches none the less the placement are good.
The college has nice looks. The college have a huge playground, basketball court and a really good library. The laboratories are well-equipped with the latest equipment and technology. The food facilities are good.
The quality of teaching could be better but efforts are made in keeping everything up-to-date. The teachers here are knowledgeable in various community activities, exhibitions, awareness program and lectures.
Almost everybody get placement in campus interviews here. The college and teachers are supportive.Lots of good opportunity for students. There are mass recruitments which makes things easy for students. Highest package is 23.55 lpa. Average package is 2.45 lpa.
Worst infrastructure no washrooms for girls and no internet/wifi/ mobile data works here.Dirty water tanks and very small canteen cannot accommodate the number of students. The roads are broken and building are very very old 50 yrs old and there is construction going on so it's unsafe to be on campus aswell
The faculty's rudeness and lack of empathy have taken a toll on my mental health, particularly within the AIDS department, where favoritism toward Telugu-speaking students is prevalent. Handwritten assignments and a focus on attendance over actual learning contribute to a sense of backwardness and wasted time.
The main draw, placements, falls short of expectations. The high salary packages advertised on the website are primarily from off-campus offers secured by students independently, not due to the college's assistance. On-campus placements are fiercely competitive, with a low average package and a meager 60% placement rate in the latest batch. The placement cell struggles to attract top companies, while newer institutions like VNR and Vasavi excel in this regard.
Worst value for money. As you might be knowing that our clg charges the highest fees in the eamcet colleges but doesn't live upto the mark .The college fees is 2 lacks per annum which is way higher than other colleges like vnr , Vasavi charging just 1.25 lacks for better accommodation and student life
Fests , usually a highlight in most colleges, disappoint with low-budget events and uninspiring guest speakers, making them less appealing than simply staying home.
Cbit stands out as one of the most challenging experiences you could encounter in your academic journey. The overall college environment is notably lacking, with demotivating staff and a placement cell that treats responsibilities with indifference. The predominant Telugu-based crowd creates a language barrier, leaving non-Telugu students like myself feeling isolated. Friendships are scarce due to this language divide, and the college's strict adherence to rules, including dress code and ID card
This college provides students with good environment for students and faculty and management. Facilities in this college contains laboratories, libraries, sports centre and hostels. Yes everything is used well.
Ciriculam of this course and campus is well updated and upgraded every year for new batches and new students. Yes all the recent developments are made in the field. Yes this study makes us job ready. .
Quality of placements in this college is good and well maintained for every student. No bais nature is there. Good salary packages are offered. Many courses got good salary packages m yes the placement process is easy and pleasant
Infrastructure of this institute is a good talk outside. People come here mainly because of how well and reputated this university is . Classrooms are big and bold enough to put maximum number of students
Quality of education and teaching techniques are good .yes the curriculum is updated and includes all the necessary functions required for students to learn new things and gain maximum skills to help them in future.
Many companies come here to offer jobs to students . Management is supportive towards managing students and faculty is supportive towards managing students well . Yes the college is also submitted to support

With a 31,000 rank in AP EAMCET 2025 and having OBC category and CAP Women Reservation, your chances of getting CSE (AIML) at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad are very slim, as the closing ranks for AIML in CBIT typically remain below 10,000-15,000 for reserved categories. You might get lower-demand branches like IT, ECE, or EEE in CBIT in spot/last rounds.
For AIML, you can aim for other good colleges like Malla Reddy Engineering College, CMR Institute of Technology, and VR Siddhartha where cutoffs are more flexible with CAP and Women quota.
With your TS EAMCET rank of 5459 and being a non-local candidate from Andhra Pradesh, you do have a good chance of getting a seat in the ECE branch at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad.
In previous years, the closing rank for ECE in the open category (OC) was around 7300. This means your rank of 5459 is better than the past cutoffs, so you are likely to get a seat, especially in the first or second round of counselling.
Even for the year 2025, expected closing ranks for ECE at CBIT are around 6600 to 6800. So, your chances are good.
You should also keep some backup branches in mind like Information Technology or Electrical Engineering, just in case ECE fills up fast.
Make sure to take part in all counselling rounds and keep checking official announcements.
You can also try for Vasavi College of Engineering, but its ECE cutoff is usually lower than CBIT and might close around 3500 to 4000, so it may be harder to get into Vasavi for ECE with your rank.
