Master of Philosophy in Microbiology is a full time one to two year postgraduate course offered by Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.


Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying Marks in Master's Degree.

  • 55% of marks / 5.51 of CGPA in the 10 point scale under CBCS or above
  • 50% of marks or above for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/Differently Able
  • 50% of marks or above for those who got Master's degree prior to 19.09.1991+

Entrance examination will be conducted by the respective departments /research centers for their applicants for 100 marks. However students with NET/SLET/CSIR are exempted from applying for entrance exams.
