It's hard to determine which one is significantly better because LNCT has recently emerged as Bhopal's top institution for placement, with a focus on its main campus. However, placements in non-IT areas are having some difficulty. However, MITs is a public university with cheaper tuition than LNCT.

MITS Gwalior has a good placement record which it is beating year after year. Students get eligor campus placements in the 4th year and arlund 70% students get placed in top companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. The average package that is offered is 3.5 LPA and the highest that was offered was 12 LPA. It is a great college in all terms, be it education,infrastructure or placement.

As per the trends of cutoff from previous years, a range of rank within 70000 to 150000 stands a chance to get a seat in Civil Engineering department at MITS Gwalior. As you have mentioned that your obc-ncl rank is 140000, you have a chance to get a seat at MITS Gwalior in Civil Engineering department. But you have to wait in the counselling rounds for that.
