    after bsc microbiology can i get msc microbiology in IIT madras

    Hello,

    Since IIT only provides the MSc in biotechnology, there is no possibility of continuing with the Msc in Microbiology using the JAM rank.

    Since 2004, the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) has been held to provide admission to the M.Sc. (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, etc. Programmes at the IITs, and Integrated Ph.D. Degree Programmes at the IISc. The postgraduate programmes offered by the IITs and IISc provide top-notch instruction in their respective fields, on par with the best in the world. These programmes' curriculum are created to give students the chance to hone their academic skills in order to pursue challenging and fulfilling careers.

    TIP : Apply for MSc Biotechnology as there are no seats available at IITs for microbiology and more seats available for Biotechnology.

    Good Luck!!

    Fore sure, yes. Indian Institute of Technology Madras is a recognized education institute and the online BSC in Data Science program that it is offering also has a wide acceptability. Once you complete the course you are done with your bachelors, and so you are automatically eligible for your masters. So yes, you can do masters or MTech after online BSc from IIT Madras!

    Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

    should i opt for nit nagpur mining or pec chandigarh civil or nit hamirpur material science and i have opted for iit madras online bsc degree program

    See if you have already joined the online Bachelor of Science course in Data Science by Indian Institute of Technology Madras, then you are only doing the second course for validation and for getting a formal engineering degree. So, you should select a college in an urban setting as it will take your career further due to the presence of industries.

    So going by this the order should be:

    NIT Nagpur Mining
    PEC Chandigarh Civil
    NIT Hamirpur MS

    IIT Madras Bsc degree is UGC approved or not? Can I apply for graduation level government jobs on the basis of this degree??

    Dear Student,

    It will be treated similarly to other BSc degrees from other universities. The UGC requirements are followed by this degree.

    A graduate has many alternatives available to them. Just put some work into it. Let's take them in turn:

    • You can always apply for commission positions like the state PSC and IAS. You will end up with a superb job, despite the fact that it will take a lot longer time and require incredible attention and hard work.
    • However, the truth is that there is fierce competition for every PSC position. Therefore, you should choose SSC-CGL (staff selection commission). If you start preparing from your BSc, you can join within 8 to 10 months after the completion of the course, and the employment offered under this are fairly good as well; it only requires a few months of preparation.
    • The BANK-PO (probationary officers) and clerk grades make up the third choice. You must register for the IBPS exam, and you must do well on it. The next step is to submit an application to each bank. IBPS does not accept applications for SBI. It arranges a unique examination of its own.
    • If you have even the slightest interest in teaching, you can pursue either a B.Ed or a BTC and land a job as an assistant teacher at a government school for grades K through 12.
    • In addition to these choices, the railroads and the forest agencies occasionally have openings for qualified candidates.

    • Hope this helps.

    dear sir is there any course which is online offered by this institute

    Since you have tagged Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, thus I'll be answering in this context. So, the answer is yes, IIT Madras offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science and Programming, which is completely online. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

    How Bad Is BS Online From IIT M?

    Hello aspirant,

    Now, a candidate can either do the three-level or only first (will get a foundational certificate from CCE-IITM) or up to the second level (will get a foundational certificate from IIT Madras). The B.Sc. degree you will get only after completing This level.

    No doubt, the full degree course learning modules are designed as per the current industry demand. But if you opt up to the first or second level, then you will not get the chance to learn the entire learning modules, which are essentially needed for making yourself industry-ready. So if you are opting for a diploma or foundational certificate, then so many alternative data science certification courses are there through which you will get complete job-ready training.

    Now you may say you will complete the B.Sc. program. Here comes the second point for disqualifying this data science course as the creditable one.

    Reason#1: The course span (A crucial reason ): The entire B.Sc. programme courses duration is a minimum of 3 years. So planning for completing the entire program up to the degree level makes you wait for 3 years to get a job with a lucrative data science salary, even after completing the course you are pursuing. To start a career in data science, or better to say to switch your career to the data science discipline, this long waiting time becomes really risky (from the perspective of your career growth). Because at present, the data science field lacks promising and skilled talents, but within two years, the skill gaps will be quite manageable. Consequently, getting your first data science job will be much harder from now. Instead, you can get other data science and AI courses that get completed in a maximum of 12 months.

    Reason#2: The course fees (Does not worth): The data science courses fees become approx 2.5 lakhs. If you consider up to the foundational level, then it will be 32,000 INR. For diploma level, it will be 32,000 + 1,10,000 INR. Even from the perspective of diploma level courses, the fees do not seem worthy because plenty of renowned alternatives are available, where you will get truly industry-ready diploma courses at much lesser course fees and at a lesser time.

    Reason#3:- Integrated data science projects (the biggest reason for not choosing this course): From the courses and modules details provided in the IIT-madras, it seems the course is not associated with a hands-on capstone project prior to doing data science courses. This becomes the IIT Madras online course a big no.

    Reason#4:- Placement assistance is missing (the course becomes completely worthless): The key reason for joining and IIT courses is to get 100% placement support and to get placed in renowned companies. This particular online course does not offer any placement support. This again deems the job-market competency of this course.

    Suppose you are not satisfied with your current course and want to pursue another course to make your data science career future proof and growthful. In that case, you can choose any of the following institutes for pursuing an industry-ready artificial intelligence and data science course.

    UpGrad

    Simplilearn

    Skillslash

    Learnbay (highly recommended for working pros)

    Jigsaw academy.

    Mera ek Bhai Obc pwd candidate h or jee mains m 74%ile laya h top nit m cs/it milega or Jee Advance m kitna marks lana hoga jo ki Iit m CS/It branch m admission ho payega

    Hello Aspirant,

    See as per the percentile and category mentioned by you, your brother has decent chances to get top NITs like NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Surathakal, NIT Jaipur, NIT Delhi and many other with CS/IT like top branches.

    As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

    ==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

    ==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

    ==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

    ==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

    ==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

    ==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

    Also your brother has very strong chances that he will qualify for JEE-Advance 2022.

    Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

    You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

    https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

    Now if talking about CS/IT branch in IIT s then being an OBC-PwD candidate he should try to secure at least 5-7% marks in each subject of JEE-Advance 2022 and at least 10% aggregate marks in JEE-Advance 2022 to be on the safer side.

    To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-
