as you mention your jee main score is 70 percentile but you are obc but not mention.

so you will treated as general category . as there is no any process in jee main to change your name or category if you donot mention when form is you applied.

at 291774 rank you will not able to qualify the jee main as you are in general category

so i suggest to give next attempt with more effort so that you will get good marks

The most basic eligibility criteria for pursuing master of computer application in MITS is to complete Bachelor of Computer Application with Mathematics as compulsory subject  in 12th class. For more details related to MITS click on below link:

For clearing tech companies in placements, you need to have knowledge of atleast one coding language and subjects like data structures and algorithms, software testing, database management, operating system, etc.
You will have to learn these along side with your own syllabus no matter which branch you choose.

Electronics and communication engineering covers few of the subjects required for IT companies, so I will advice you to opt for it. But you will have to learn a lot of things along with it.

With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that mits gwalior    would be the better option as it holds 138 nirf ranking , well organized infrastructure and non-smoking green campus . Faculties are also very helpful and plays huge role in increasing coding culture .  Placement scenario is aslo very decent , most of the students are placed with an average package of 3.5 lakhs and highest went up to 12lakhs
