as i am answering your query from the students rating of students who are in st joseph engineering college

Mobile phones are not allowed on the campus , They will provide water and drinking water 24/7. Hot water will be provided in the winter season with scheduled timings. Hostel rooms will be spacious and it has an attached bathroom with them. Sweepers come and clean alternate days. About meals, they provided our tasty meals. We had both veg and nonveg it's upto your choice. Food quality is 10/10.

The rooms are allocated within the shared basis that is 4 members per room. The rooms are highly spacious with attached bathrooms and restrooms. They provide highly hygienic meals and taste will surely tempt our taste buds to eat more. And they provide a variety of foods daily and a menu will be different on each day.

you can use mobile phone in the hostel but not in campus area.

According to your income (i.e. 550000) you are eligible for Supernumerary Quota in all the Engineering colleges in Karnataka automatically. Also not all the eligible students will get this SNQ quota.

Only few students in every colleges will get this SNQ quota. And this quota is given to students based on the income and ranking in KCET .

As you are eligible, you have the chance of getting Computer Science Engineering seat in Supernumerary Quota in St. Joseph Engineering College.  Hope for the best.

Your rank is 37K which is a good rank but SJEC Mangalore has cut-off around 22K for the 1st two rounds of KCET . This Prediction is done using previous year data , the cut-off may vary this year also. If you have some good reservation with this rank you will get SJEC Mangalore. Don't lose hope try for all the three rounds you will get it.

The allocation of seats depends on cutoff and it depends on various factors like :

1. The difficulty level of the exam
2. Marking scheme
3. Number of candidates appeared
4. Number of available seats

St Joseph's Engineering College- 3.80 lacs

Though according to the review of the students Rajalakshmi Engineering College is a better college as compared to St Joseph's Engineering College.

KalaSalingam is the best.Kalasalinga University is a good choice since the institute offers quality education and also renowned professors.The placements offered by the institution is quite good and also the faculties are quite helpful and understandble.Facilities like WiFi, International Research Center, centralised library and Digital Dashboard for each student called SIS are attractive features of the college and also the campus and the infrastructures attract most .

see the both of the institute you have mentioned is best for their engineering placement. however mba placement is moderate and salary package offered is lower than the tier 1 institute. based on students review between this two institute ST joseph engineering college is preferable, placement for mba course is moderate, highest salary offered is 6 lpa. lowest salary package is 2 lpa. apart from college you also need to search job positions by you self  and try for internship while you would study in final year.

If at all you choose some less demand branch then you may get seat in some good college and its upon your interest to choose college...

Hello student student yes student can get admission in B.tech through lateral entry. Candidates must past minimum 3years of diploma after class 10 from a recognized board or pass class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics.
Candidates must obtain 60% marks in 3year diploma after class 10.
In case of 1year and 2year diploma after 10 candidates are not eligible to get admission in B.tech lateral entry.
