    SJEC Mangalore Admission Process

    St Joseph Engineering College, Mangalore offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The courses offered for SJEC Mangalore admissions are B.E, M.Tech, M.B.A, M.C.A, M.Sc and Ph.D. For SJEC Mangalore admission to the B.E programme, candidates have to appear for COMEDK UGET or KCET. Then, candidates are required to participate in COMEDK UGET/KCET counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment.

    Admission to the M.B.A programme is done on the basis of candidates performance in Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT/ CMAT. Further, shortlisted candidates are assigned seats based on the counselling rounds. Candidates who wish to avail government quota seats should come through PGCET counselling after passing the entrance test. For availing the management quota seats also the candidate should appear for the entrance tests namely CMAT or KMAT. SJEC Mangalore admission to M.C.A is based on  candidates' scores in the entrance exam- Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT. For admission under the Government quota, ranks obtained in the Karnataka PGCET is be considered and for the Management quota, the candidates should have appeared for Karnataka PGCET /KMAT or appeared and qualified under any approved entrance examination conducted by the authority recognised by the Government of Karnataka/VTU /any other University of Karnataka state. Candidates are allotted seats based on the Karnataka PGCET/KMAT counselling rounds. For admission to the M.Tech programme, candidates have to appear for Karnataka PGCET or GATE. The selection process is based on academic merit, as well as counselling and an interview on campus. Further, seats are allotted to the candidates as per the counselling rounds.

    St Joseph Engineering College admission to M.Sc is offered based on candidates’ performance in the GATE or University Level Research Aptitude Test conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. Candidates are selected based on the merit of the qualifying exam and entrance marks. SJEC Mangalore admission to Ph.D programme is done on the basis of candidates’ scores in the entrance exam- University Level Research Aptitude Test. Then, the candidates are selected based on merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test marks. Final admission is confirmed after verification of documents and course fee payment. 

    SJEC Mangalore Application Process

    Mobile phones are not allowed on the campus , They will provide water and drinking water 24/7. Hot water will be provided in the winter season with scheduled timings. Hostel rooms will be spacious and it has an attached bathroom with them. Sweepers come and clean alternate days. About meals, they provided our tasty meals. We had both veg and nonveg it's upto your choice. Food quality is 10/10.

    The rooms are allocated within the shared basis that is 4 members per room. The rooms are highly spacious with attached bathrooms and restrooms. They provide highly hygienic meals and taste will surely tempt our taste buds to eat more. And they provide a variety of foods daily and a menu will be different on each day.

    According to your income (i.e. 550000) you are eligible for Supernumerary Quota in all the Engineering colleges in Karnataka automatically. Also not all the eligible students will get this SNQ quota.
