Sushganga Polytechnic, Yavatmal Admission Process

Sushganga Polytechnic, Yavatmal, one of the renowned technical institutes located at Naigaon, Maharashtra, is Sushganga Polytechnic, one of the most prestigious institutions for technical education in Yavalmal. Admission to the institute is being followed in a prescribed manner for various diploma courses in different disciplines of engineering. It is, to a larger extent, obtained through the Centralized Admission Process-CAP conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

Eligibility: Generally, the minimum prerequisites for admission to any of the diploma programs offered by Sushganga Polytechnic include having passed the 10th standard or an equivalent examination. Application Process:

The entire admission procedure for Sushganga Polytechnic, Yavatmal, is conducted online through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. Below is the complete stepwise process to apply:

  1. Online Application: A candidate has to visit the DTE Maharashtra official website, register for the CAP.

  7. Merit List: Wait for all merit lists released by DTE Maharashtra.

Degree-wise Admission Process:

Diploma in Civil Engineering: This course has 60 students as an intake, and the same admission procedure is followed as all other diploma courses; where 80% of seats are filled through CAP and 20% through institutional quota.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: It amounts to 45 seats. It follows the merit-based seat allotment and preference selection after the online application through CAP.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering: This program is of 45 seats, follows the common admission procedure of Sushganga Polytechnic by means of online application and centralized allotment.

Diploma in Computer Technology: It accommodates 45 students as intake. Admission is done through CAP allocating first-year and direct admission into the second year for eligible candidates.

Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: Admission process of this institute has 45 seats including all normal application procedures through online, merit-based selection through CAP.
