One of the premier technical institutions in Naigaon, Maharashtra, is Sushganga Polytechnic, Yavatmal, established in 2009. This co-educational institute, spread over 5.53 acres of campus, is an affiliated college approved by AICTE. Having a total student enrolment of 625 and a faculty strength of 41, Sushganga Polytechnic offers a wide variety of diploma programmes in Engineering disciplines. Technical education is the hallmark of this institute, which offers six full-time diploma courses in different specialisations in the field of engineering. 

The institute has numerous facilities to enrich the learning processes of its students. The admission process to Sushganga Polytechnic is mainly based on the Centralised Admission Process conducted by the DTE of Maharashtra. Applications from aspiring students have to be made online, through the Centralised Online Admission Process, before the deadlines announced by DTE. This institute follows a systemic admission procedure, wherein 80% of the seats are filled through the CAP, while 20% are reserved for institutional quota admissions.
