hello,
CET has very good teachers in some branch only. But as per my experience its never about the faculties its always about your own effort. CET used to have a poor course structure due to the influence of BPUT but now it is an autonomous body. So, now everything is done in college itself examination as well as evaluation is done by branch faculties only. So it has improved a lot in terms of course studies.
Fest is an integral part of every engineering college and students look forward to this every year. Every even semester is loaded with CET fest. Its starts with the tech fest and Literature fest(Perception) then followed by sports fest(Engineer’s Cup) and end with cultural fest(XTASY). Every fest is one of its own and loaded with competitions, workshops and star nights. Stars like Darshan Raval, Amit Mishra, Gajendra Verma, Anushka Manchanda, Zephyrtone and bands like spunk, underground authority, standup comedians like Sapan Verma, Kenny Sebastian have performed in the fest. And I no other government college organise fest up to such level.
CLUBS: Cet has lot many clubs actively working throughout the year. Zairza (Robosoft club), Sangrilla and TDA(dance club), music society, sports club, photo factory, NSS .
Veer Surendra Sai university of technology formerly known as UCE is one of the oldest institution of this country and the most prestigious institution of Odisha.
Nobody can match the legacy and excellence associated with it . Also , to mention it's Alumni network spread all over the world .
The fee structure is quite affordable.
Faculty being very experienced .
Placements are great , atleast the average package you get is more than what you pay in 4 years . Please to refer to the placement statistics on vssut.ac.in for better idea .
Packed with lots of clubs and societies . We have highly ranked Robotics club along with two Automotive societies. Also we have Dance club , dramatics society which is quite active and takes part in various competitions across the country .Not to forget the Idea and Innovation cell which has done wonders and brought a lot a fame to the institution ( a part being the VSSUT satellite ).
Odisha being land of new opportunities , in view of that we have Entrepreneurship development programme cell .
hope it helped.

hi,
see data science is the totally new course, so there is not much reviews of students, however as per trending of market and IT industry, data science professionals has wide career options in coming days. now coming to MAKAUT, university the curriculum has changes and makes it upto the market standard. faculty are well experienced and decent ratio maintained of students and faculty. however the location of the university has changed , so if you are not belongs to the local area of haringhata you may hve to take hostel or pg.
however the overall placement and infrastructure is good in makaut, kolkata.
hope it would help.
Hello Apu sarkar, Both the Universities are best for bsc and infastructure is also good but facilities are more in TIU like sports campus, wifi campus, and many more and they all are not in MAKAUT and placement is also good at TIU. So I personally preferred you to go for TIU.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)

Hey jahnavi
VIT is much better in any terms . There is no comparison !! Placements : some students got 3 company offer letter . Infra : One of the best campus in india . Faculty : Do self study .
But if you are having interest in bioinformatics than yo can go with sastra no problem at all.It is also having a good reputation. But you will be getting good placements in cse at vit if you will be having skills.
ALL THE BEST
Hello aspirant,
The MTech in mechanical at DTU is very good, but the placements are below average. Also I've seen the interested candidates get placed with good package. The scenario after MTech is changing these days, as the Conditions of Engineering colleges are not favorable.
PhD has become extremely necessary after MTech to survive in academics and research. Scholar gets opportunities for that as well.
For Jobs in Public/Government Secto/ Private Sector, one gets decent time after classes and Lab Duties. And the profs are also very supportive, so that the students get a good career.
A student after two years of MTech in DTU(Mechanical Engineering Dept), can't claim that he didn't get the opportunities to make his career. And it's all that matters. The fees is much though, but it's balanced by the scholarship.
But in terms of fees , it is good college and value for money and you have to work on your skills and own hardwork then you will get placed.
