See its a counseling all the things that goes inside is internal so it's very hard to say how many seat left. We know that ranks are produced but it's very hard to say whether all the guys attended it or some left or all left so it's very difficult to say whether a seat is left or not.

If such changes are made for already persuing students, they will be notified by the college as well as will get notifications and information on its official site.

According to previous year of JIPMER for UR, the opening and closing ranks was 1 and 156 for Puducherry campus & 190 and 978 for Karaikal campus which indicates that you have chances for getting admission in JIPMER this year.

Kindly note that merit list changes every year and so does the cut offs on which basis the admission is done.

You are not eligible for subsequent rounds till round-3(if any) as your chance for admission has been forfeit due to your absence for round-1.

But you can attend the final counseling (if any) as all candidates who are eligible by the merit list can attend this final counseling irrespective of their previous attendance.

Firstly, the second counselling will be done only if any vacant seats were to be available after round-1 and the notice regarding the vacant seats of JIPMER MBBS 2019 is yet to be published.

Secondly, in case of vacant seats availability, the student who have not opted/exercised option at his /her category rank will be eligible to attend second counseling.The candidates will be called for second counseling depends upon the availability of seats vacant in each category.

The tentative date for 2nd round of counselling is 24th July, 2019.

Note: It is advised to be in contact in official website of JIPMER regularly.

The opening and closing rank of JIPMER 2019 from previous year for OBC was 13 and 51 (Puducherry campus) & 64 and 240(Karaikal campus) which tells that with your rank its not possible to get a seat in any of the JIPMER this year.

It is very difficult with such a rank to get any of the JIPMER campuses. According to last year's data , the closing rank for OBC -Physically handicapped candidates , was 59 for Puducherry Campus and 69 for Karaikal Campus. The ranks of both the campuses of JIPMER have much great difference with your rank. So it is very difficult with such a rank to get any of the JIPMER campuses. Rest , it depends on each year's cutoff.

Every year 200 students are selected for MBBS programme in JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal collectively. In that 200, 50 seats are allocated for Puducherry state students. Remaining 150 students are selected from All India Quota. So if you belong to general category, you should be under AIR 120-130 maximum.
