Is aiims and jipmer going to held next year ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2019
Dear Nirvika, it is true that there was a speculation that AIIMS and JIPMER would conduct their admissions through NEET from 2020 as apart of NMC Bill. However, when NTA has released its NEET 2020 registration process, there is no mention of AIIMS and JIPMER admissions being conducted through NEET. With AIIMS already releasing its AIIMS MBBS 2020 application information, it is unlikely that AIIMS and JIPMER will be merged with NEET atleast this year. JIPMER also might follow suit and release their JIPMER MBBS 2020 application and registration details soon.

Just to keep you posted, important dates for NEET UG 2020:

Registration Dates: 2nd to 31st December, 2019
Downloading of Admit Cards: 27th March, 2020
Date of Examination: 3rd May, 2020
Date of Announcing Result: 4th June, 2020

Important dates for AIIMS MBBS 2020 will be released as usual during November.

What are the exams i can apply in PCB field except neet jipmer and aiims

Saurav chaurasia 19th Aug, 2019
Dear aspirant, hope you are doing well. Now coming to your question, previously many medical colleges conduct their own entrance exam, but now all these exams have been under a major exam called NEET. Now only 3 examination are been held for PCB students that is AIIMS, JIPMER and Neet.
Hope this will surely help.

My question is, this year talkings going around that aiims jipmer bsc nursing will merge to a single exam neet?Is it possible this year 2020

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Aug, 2019
Dear Aritri, MCI is being replaced by NMC. However this will take upto 6 months based on the information released by the Health Ministry. There was also news that AIIMS and JIPMER admissions also will be conducred through NEET as a part of NMC Bill. Considering this is August, and 6 monhs from now is Feb/March 2020,it is unlikely that there any changes that will be affecting AIIMS 2020 and JIPMER 2020.  If you are someone planning on taking on NEET, this might help you:

Careers360 is conducting the All India Talent search exam where students of 11th and 12th PCM/PCB can test their knowledge and enhance their preparation by knowing their stronger and weaker areas and win prizes and scholarships worth 1.25 Crore.
If you are an Engineering or medical aspirant, it is a great opportunity for you. Take the test, perform the best, avail the scholarship and win prizes.

You can win exciting prizes such as:
50,000/- cash Prizes, Upto 100% Scholarship on JEE / NEET AI-Based preparation packages, Laptops, Smartphones, Amazon Echo, Careers360 Almanacs, Powerbanks, Upto 250/- paytm *Cashback offer

is aiims ,jipmer are in neet in 2021?

Dear Somya, MCI is being replaced by NMC. Once 2020 entrance exams are conducted, it will be relatively easier to answer this question because we genuinely do not k now what the Health Ministry has planned for the next 2 years. If you are someone planning on taking on NEET, this might help you:

Shivam bhardwaj Student Expert 16th Aug, 2019

Hello Sonali,

NIOS is a educational board just like CBSE or any other board. It is run by HRD ministry, Govt of India. A candidate having NIOS certificate can appear in any national level exam like CLAT, JEE and NEET also with AIIMS or JIPMER.

If you want to give, then prepare for it and give it next year.

Good luck

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 16th Aug, 2019
Hello Aspirant,
For JIPMER you first go through NCERT BOOKS and clear all your basic specially for Biology any how try to go throughly through NCERT and then for physics and Chemistry try ARITHANT BOOKS FOR MEDICAL ENTRANCE DC PANDEY for physics and for Chemistry this book will help you out in many ways AND ;then at last try to solve 5 to 6yrs Previous year Question.

Even this might be helpful:- Careers360 is conducting the All India Talent search exam where students of 11th and 12th PCM/PCB can test their knowledge and enhance their preparation by knowing their stronger and weaker areas and win prizes and scholarships worth 1.25 Crore.

I scoredAIR 1058rank and I am from UR category. Is there any chance of admission?

shruti jha Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019

Hi Aditya,

The cutoff ranks to get a seat for mbbs/bds in jipmer is as follows for UR category candidates-

Ranks

1 to 156 - for pondicherry campus

190 to 978 - for karaikal campus

So, according to your rank your chances are almost nil to get a seat in jipmer for pursuing mbbs/bds courses.

Good luck.

Hi, I am doing my IGCSE (A Level) with Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I have done physics till AS level. Will i qualify for the entrance exam

shruti jha Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019

Hi Krishna,

According to previous years rules and regulations regarding to the neet entrance exam eligibility.

To appear in neet entrance exam any nri candidate has to study A-level with all three subjects as- Biology, Chemistry and Physics, along with AS-level.

But sometimes the criterias get changed.

So, hope for the best and then recheck the eligibility criteria before neet 2020 registrations.

Good luck.
